Still, when I played Legend Of The Red Dragon on a BBS back in the late 80s, 300bps was all I needed.

Zardayne✭✭✭✭✭I was so excited when I ditched my US robotics modem 33.6 or 56k for my new Diamond Supra 56k external one..until I realized it sucked just as bad lol!
I remember playing Ultima online and getting knocked offline and my buddy would call me on the phone and ask if I got disconnected since my character kept running and ended up with 3 orcs, an ettin, and a troll chasing me across the world until I logged out. OMG. Those sounds bring me nothing but joy. My dad and I ran BBSes back when they were the thing. It reminds me of the early days of online gaming, MUDs, Ultima Online. Yay!

I suggest upgrading to one of these:
Make sure you get a serial card with a 16550 UART though.5 -
