I would really like to see vocal emotes in the game.

Would be nice to have sound with some of the emotes

I do like the voiced emotes in WoW. I guess it would annoy roleplayers if it went against their character's personality but roleplayers don't have to use them, yes? Should come with an option to be muted and mute emotes from players you blocked though.

ESO has a really great sense of humour underlying their storylines.

Funny voice-over emotes would be a cherry-on-top. One could really imagine the classic one-liners during the /DanceArgonian

While we wait for this to become reality, we could start collecting ideas for them.
Obviously a greeting and goodbye, a joke, maybe a flirt and insult too. (N'WAH!)

My Male Redguard uses the voice F option, and he actually, vocally goes "Booooo" when using the /boo emote.

It's better than tbagging. I wouldn't have it any other way.

more lags = not funny

Anyone remember when emotes could altar your facial mood and your mouth even opened? Then they took that away.

I hope not only because a bunch of unnecessary audio files greatly increases the size of game files. ESO still fits on my 128GB SSD, I'd like to keep it that way as long as possible :P

While I agree that this might be quite fun, it would require them to hire the voice actors again. For all races and all variants. For all polymorphs too, like the factotum, werewolf lord, skeleton, etc. Which by the way, some of them do lack some of the regular emote noises. For example /clap on skeleton form gives this clattering bone-on-bone noise. /clap on Factotum gives this metallic bang noise. But the werewolf polymorph for example makes NO sound whatsoever which is probably an oversight.

And since anything requiring work on their part would have to be charged, I can definitely imagine them adding said vocal emotes to the Crown Store only.

We already have vocals for emotes like laugh, cheer, cry, etc. You meant speeches (actual words and voice lines) in emotes?

Eh, I suppose I don't have an issue with adding speech "emotes" (at which point they aren't really emotes, hence putting that in quotes). I doubt they'd add voice lines that would fit my characters, so I wouldn't be using it.
