" IN COMBAT " : anti-group system in cyrodiil

Since we can't slot anything while in combat in cyrodiil, like pots or weapon sieges in shortcuts, and only because maybe 1 guy in the group is fighting something/someone, we have to leave the group to leave "in combat" mode... just... WHY ?

I'm leading groups in cyrodiil, I can't leave all groups i lead only because i need to get a camp in my shortcut or a detect pot, or an oil or a catapult, really, it's a very bad thing.

Please ZOS do something. I love to solo but Cyrodiil needs groups. Do something. Thx.

The issue is not about someone else being in combat. Zos made the in-combat issue worse. Even solo we can be put into combat when we are clearly not in combat and no player or NPC is in sight.

We can walk between keeps with no combat around us and remain in combat for the entire distance.

Sadly Zos has chosen to ignore these threads that they made it worse with Murkmire. I checked the first 5 pages of the Dev tracker this morning to make see if they have noted this issue.

It's been years since I last grouped up in Cyrodiil but I'm still stuck in combat and put in combat randomly pretty often.

had to walk from nikel to ash while being chased on my level 20 something magblade...

made it to ash milegate before i ran out of magicka from my cloak...and, got run down and killed...

new content now seems to equal the resurgence of old glitches...

I been sitting in stealth for 10min in open field saying I'm in combat.. This game can drop d..... Can't mount, can't change gear or skills.

You can be in combat with mobs in delves long after you exited it.
In Cyrodil this is way worse, even worse then you have loadout for overland and sieges.

There are times I just run into a zerg with the intention of being killed so I can easily respawn at a keep of choice and have my "in combat" forcefully stripped away.

Doesnt work when you're in a group in combat in the keep you are resurecting.

Aye, if you don't plan ahead you'll be stuck with quickslots full of Pact Ballistias, Rams & Repair Kits as the custard coloured hoarde front doors your keeps.

And don't even get me started on sneaking off to place down a strategic Forward Camp only to be stuck in combat for 5 minutes.

Even this sometimes does not work. I had some respawns in safe keep/base and remaining in combat for some time

You can be in combat but you can't have been hit recently... at least that's the way it use to be. Who knows any more lol.

It's not as bad as when you get that permanent combat bug and can't mount..... Especially when your group just captured the scroll & they start running towards a home keep, without you
