Personally I think they should at least offer the ability for Steam users to switch their accounts over from using Steam to their own non-Steam one free of charge.

I second this. It is incredible that they have not done this yet. Blatant disregard for customer satisfaction and a total lack of appreciation of actually having some customers that want to pay for a product.

Personally if they can finally address the issue I'd be ok with sticking to Steam, otherwise I'd just like an option to move over to ESO's launcher away from Steam without re-buying the base game (and/or guaranteeing that DLC/Summerset/ESO+/Characters/etc all transfer over without issue).

I wanted to add my voice to the frustration. The fact that this is happening during an event that is connected to a cooldown, not daily reset time, makes it more annoying. I have four more characters to do daily normals on, and I have no idea if I'll get them done today.

Always problem happen to steam user first.

Every patch / fix / any issue any problem always happen to steam user.

This is 4th time for me during the past 30 days that I am unable to log in... 2nd day of the event when I cannot participate. This is getting out of hand. I love the game, but this is becoming very frustrating. There is so little communication on ZOS' side as if they stopped caring about anything else but their revenew.

I don't get it.. why new people who bought game on steam can't log in via non-steam method, when older ones can.

My facial expression, when trying to get online and then reading up the forums why it is not working.....
Anybody feels the same?

Some complimentary Mysterious Boxes wouldn't be too much to ask for making us miss most (if not all) of the event..

Maybe if the problem lasts until tomorrow they will be a little crazy and give 1 mysterious box as compensation...

I'm just tired of this… I'm not even suprised anymore when I can't log in it's just "oh they messed up with Steam again".
I refuse to blame Steam. I don't know at whose side the fault is when it comes to technical details but to be honest I don't care - since Zenimax and Bethesda sell TESO on Steam they are responsible for making it work there - whether fixing the problem or pressuring Steam they decided to put it on sale there and are responsible for that choice.

It's not a new problem anymore, they've had half a year to adress it, it's been somthing that pops up after every bigger update and some smaller ones since after Summerset.


I see two solution - one, highly unlikely, is that they will fix this problem. Second, even more unlikely, is that they'll provide a key to Steam players for a non Steam copy.

So far this event is great. Most of the time dungeon finder doesn't work and now I can't even log in .

dont care about boxes, i'm jsut fed up to be at least , or somehow not on the same levels of the others players that dont pass by steam.

Just free us to this ***, clearly all this year, one per month we have a day or more to be stuck on this server not connecting.

Eso+, you love when it's paid, when I love to get why I paid for,
i paid a month, i want to be able to play every day of my paid month.

And don't think boxes are fair compensation, the fair compensation is only to free the mind of your steams users that they don't have to ask them if they will be able or not to log a saturday.

This is month people are just asking for yours technicians to allow players to quit steam with their account and going on the launcher.
IS that hard, or are you only interested by the contract and the monnay with steam ?

3700 hours of game, just beginning to invest in the housing and the higl level content, and just wondering if i will be better to give up.

Are you able to hear and dispose some solutions for yours customers ? I love the saga from morrowind, but you can be sure the issue with zenimax/steam will just disgust me of all the world of the elder scroll.

Frustration is a bad thing, dont let people get in this during months. It's not with news features you will get more people on your game, it's by coaxing your actual players.
