Warden ultimate question

Is it still a huge dps-loss to slot anything other than the bear? I was thinking of flawless dawnbreaker front and ballista back. Having dawnbreaker gives 3% dmg increase +2 % weapondamage increase, bear only gives 3% however it attacks all the time.

I play a stam warden. Insights? :)

    If your going to use War Machine then use the bear. If not then you dont need to, yes it still parses higher due to being the class execute but its not that big a difference anymore.

    None from my 3 wardens use Bear, they aren't good enough.
    My stamden has Dawnbreaker slotted on both bars.
    I once had Ballista with a bow, but watching this '50k dot' dealing literally no damage to enemy player, I forgot about it.

    In PVE I run Dawnbreaker on my DW bar and Ballista on the Bow bar. This goes for Stamblade, Stamsorc and Stamden. My last target dummy ballista did 80k damage total.

    For PVP I run Dawnbreaker on my 2H bar and Healing Ult on my Bow bar.

    I currently run the bear on mine, but only until I unlock Dawnbreaker. Then he will get shelved - He's just too cumbersome and inefficient compared to the better alternatives.

    I do not think OP is talking about PvP and this comment only concerns PvP.

    The bear still parses a bit higher and can be used with War Machine. With pets being immortal in dungeons and trials it is not the worst ultimate ever. But slotting Dawnbreaker/Ballista is not such a noticeable DPS loss as before. Maybe 1-1.5k at most.
