Is break free even working in PvP?

Unless im missing something, whenever i get stunned, i simply cannot roll out or break free from it? Is there something wrong here? Or do some abilities prevent breakfree?

Ive played as a nightblade on one character since release on XB1 so i jave no idea how other class skills work. Its hard to tell what is stunning you when so many people are attacking.

Can anyome teach or share insight?
I've also found that immovable pots don't seen to work anymore either

The worst (or best if you're using it) CC in the game is Fossilize from DK abilities, it stuns and immobilizes. That means you to break free and dodge roll to get out of it. I play as DK and I can say it's a noob killer.

Otherwise, most of CCs works the same, you just need to have enough stamina and find the good timing to break free, but sometimes it's bugged/laggy, like the entire game I guess.

Even experienced players have problems with that - especially in "Lag" when there is a lot of people fighting and the visual feedback is delayed... so for about 3 - 5 seconds you ask yourself a question... why cannot I move ? What stunned me ? Often you have to guess before it will too late

no it dosend works at all including pve. This game is so messed and buggy like a cheap private server.

You're not wrong.

CC break is most definitely not responding as it did prior to Murkmire. It's either massively delayed, or non-existant, and that's with plenty of stat pool remaining and typical ping.

I don't really play in Cyrodiil, but last time I tried, I remember not seeing *** about what was happening. On my PC, more than 15 players at the same place and it's over: *** FPS + *** ping + broken animations.

In BGs, it's way more manageable, and actually reliable (from my experience at least), Destructive Clench for example is pretty easy to break free, if you see it coming, you can break free before the knock back even start

I used break free on a mag sorc last night.
Yes it works it might not work all the time though
Thought they added a time aspect to it (?)

Breaking CC is nothing but frustration... add to that that CC cooldown doesn’t appear to be working properly just leads to even more frustration.

Want to have a good laugh? Go and take a resource and see how broken the CC is... you break CC only to be instantly CC’d again... the only way to take a resource without pulling your hair out is to pop an immovable pot.

Sometimes it works, other times not.
Sometimes there is huge lag which causes a de-sync, you are trying to break free but nothing happens, the servers are behind, they send all this data to your machine, finally it catches up and you drop dead.
My DK uses Fossilize; many times it will not land, often it lands and opponents immediately break free with no dodge roll, sometimes it lands and the players are just trapped there, like bugs in amber, til they die.

I laughed at this because it's so true. I've blown through dozens of immovability pots just taking resources. Its doable without, but then like you said, it makes you want to pull out your hair. Laggy constant ccs with break free barely working, weird delayed animations etc. Throw in the templar bubbles and its super annoying. I wish there was an ult called "guard killer", where for 500 ult you could eviscerate up to 4-5 enemy npc's within 5 meters. I'd like to see them splatter.

the worst thing is nbs fear sometimes it feels like a disconnect when animation doesnt play

Certain skills seem to not break at all.

The stun that comes at the end of the Psijic Order bubble doesn't seem to be breakable even in lagless conditions.

Not really much. I even been having hard times breaking free from those damn adds at the resources. Sheesh..
