Login Reward Timer Resetting Bug

Back then when I made a thread similar to this, It I wasn't sure on what's triggering this bug but recently it shed some light and It was due to character deletion. This is what happened on my end;

I logged in my toon to clean his inventory but I didn't claim my daily reward. (I did this twice because I forgot to print screen his outfit's color template)

After cleaning his inventory, he is now clear for deletion.
Then after deleting this toon, I logged in my main to claim the daily reward but this happened.

That’s unfortunate.... Don’t worry, it’ll take zos 3 months to fix.

I know that this is just some minor issue and there are far more pressing concerns at hand. There's also not so many people experiencing this but it can really screw people's log in counts and can potentially miss some of the important rewards specially for new players that are just creating/deleting their new toons.

So any chance this gets fixed?

I'm more curious why are you collecting rewards on characters you plan on deleting.
