Shields Do Not Take Crit Damage on Ps4

Some patch this is.

I farmed leviathan just to kill sorcs, then I fight one only to land 0 crits on his shields.

Ps4 btw. Anyone else have this issue? Is this a bug?

    I aint even sure poison is doing damage to them either through their shields i have yet to see my poison damage work on a sorc with their shields up

    Secondary effects don't work on shields.

    Funny thing, as soon as his shields went down, I landed a crit strike.

    That's not how things work. Each attack has that chance to crit.

    Why are you trying to kill crafters~? :| The issue is you need to learn to play but if this is your main goal in life, trying to kill a nerfed class then shields are the least of your worries. Since most of us play PvP to have a challenge and relish finding great players to play against. :*

    Your attacks do crit but they appear in white still as opposed to yellow like normal becuase zos didn't bother changing the code

    This. The crits ARE landing, just the UI is wrong.

    Easy way to test this - look at the actual numbers rather than relying on color coding.

    They're more interesting anyway. :smile:

    Grinding just make you go in circles.

    Mobs don't do critical damage but you can on them. :'( poor mobs

    Fyi I know how to play and can kill sorcs. I just don't want to take the time to fight them strategically anymore. I want to burst them down as fast as I burst down medium armor stamblades. Is that too much to ask?

    People hate so much they will use very specific builds just to hunt them, even if they aren't viable for other classes.

    You never seen the shieldbreaker/Sloads/Oblivion enchants spammers before?

    There really are people in game who are so bad that the only way they can get a kill is by completely exploiting a single class's weakness like this at the expense of all others. They are also usually found in the middle of a zerg, so don't really need to worry about survivability/sustain.
