It seems that every time Sorcerer finds its place in the game ZOS nerfs it without giving it a clear path of where it wants to go. The abilities being contradictory don't help either.
Sorcs are the CC class? ZOS slowly makes CC less and less useful (Negate used to work on the Hel Ra HM Gargoyles, for example) and nerfs their single target CCs like Rune Cage and Frags
Sorcs are the mobility class? Bolt Escape and Major Expedition have both been severely nerfed
Sorcs are the burst class? Damage nerfs
Sorcs are the tanky class? Shield nerfs
Not to mention, Sorcs are supposed to be the ranged class so why is Boundless Storm a melee range ability while Hurricane is the one with decent range? Should it not be the other way around? If Sorcs are supposed to take damage with their shields, why do they have "block" abilities like Persistence and Bound Armor?
I genuinely think ZOS just does not know what they want Sorcerer to be, as it is having a massive identity crisis right now and the class is designed in such a way where it is either too good or nowhere near good enough

just because you are not as mass KING and complete dominant like you have been for the past 5 years doesn't mean your trash, it just means you have been brought inline with the rest of us and class balanced.
No idea why ppl complain so much for the sorc, it still can hit hard. Recently I was destroyed by one and still can't believe that single damage is possible. If damage/healing received in pvp is cut in half...

Well you did get cursed by 2 different players. Also you can dodge crystal Frags so...

was not intended as an insult nor any type of "propaganda" infact, it was not any type of "propaganda" whatsoever, in the least, nor was it intended to be anything other then my opinion, which i stated clearly and truthfully.

As long as you play well and take great care with your engagements you will come out on top. 1vx is still possible and time to kill can be quick. just have to watch out for the big scary fast heavy armor dudes that never relent and DK reflects. Yes we are a bit more vulnerable but in group play that wont matter as much since you can alway stand behind a teammate in heavy armor and let them take the hits.

I'm not saying we haven't been hit with the nerf bat. I'm just saying it's within our means to still remain an effective and devastating force on the battlefield. Our offense is probably as good as we will ever see in the coming days. I think all the quitters who shelved their magsorc really have not taken a good look at the kit we got to work with this patch. Nothing wrong with using cover since we have superior mobility. Max magicka and bastion are overkill now so why not switch to the steed and drop vamp for more under the shield healing and mobility? Overload is god tier now don't even need frags anymore. New Destro staff makes Netches touch look like a good option for shock sorcs. 2 Excellent magicka sets are out and about now with bright throats and spell strategist, but Lich spinners Masters inferno and Bloodspawn are still king so you don't even have to farm them. We aren't as bad off as the doomsayers would have you belive.

I'm a sorc, I just beat VMA for the first time last night and that's what I am. A mSorc that can beat VMA.
