So now that sorcs been nerfed for PvE we need to look at nightblades

Yo im just gonna be honest.. Sorc shields allowed them ro shield up and atk 2-3 times adn then reapply shield while fighting several enemies at once.... BUT.... they had to fight them.... NightBlades are CLOAKING thru everything, getting to the chest or bosses and fighting them then cloaking away... This gives them a heavy advantage in PvE when im having to run to try and keep up in delves but everything aggros onto me since he is stealth/invis so he kills boss then invis and runs to next one..... And as for skipping mechanics look at AndyS run thru maelstrom on his NB....

I think NB should be giving more sustain and lose some crit buffs THEN instead of giving them invis in PvE make it a CHANCE to not be seen like 1 moreph is 30% chance not to be seen with some speed and the other is like 60% chance to avoid detection but gives recovery

Dont let nightblades keep skipping content that was intended for us to go thru.

Cloak is a real joke in pvp. so lets start there, it should cost like 9k stam or something. sounds funny bot for what they get there should be a huge cost associated with the best ability in the game by far... next is an ulti that basically charges itself lol.

DK's Wings, Sorc's Ball of Lightning, Warden's Crystallized Shield, all have very similar functionality. If ZoS were to take your poor advice and make cloak cost OVER 9000! Then I'd expect to see similar costs for the similar abilities.

Also, there is an Ulti that charges itself. It's called Onslaught. lol

Guys, play nb once and you will quickly realize cloak isn't that broken as it seems to be. Meet sorcerer with hurricane, detection potion or piercing mark and I would like to see your helpless faces, since you have no other class defenses.

Nerf my damage for all I care.
Reduce Spectral Bow's damage by 50%.
Nerf Incap down to a 10% damage buff.
Remove the upfront damage from Crippling Blast just for some extra salt factor.

But for the love of Mara, give my NB Tank and Healer some thrice damned utility so that they can be useful again.

This, exactly. Make Cloak work like Streak, with exponential cost increase until it cools down. 9 seconds of cloak burning out all their Magicka would put them on par with other classes. Cut down the damage and recovery from Drain; they're double-dipping on attack/heal there.

I've played Nightblade & Sorcerer, hybrid, mag, and stam, since launch, Warden main since Morrowind. The Nightblades are absolutely OP, have been since one of the early patches. The other two started weak but competent at one thing, and then got nerfed every patch. I just find NB incredibly boring and trashy to play.

Just because some devs obviously prefer NB, it shouldn't be the all-powerful class it is now.

And, you know, taking the Nightblades' candy away and making them cry for once would be good for the little spoiled brats.

Sap tanks were a pretty cool thing in PVE that made for a good off-tank role in a lot of content. Naturally, they had to be wrecked so thoroughly that it would be difficult to explain to a player starting now how they even worked as I am not sure any of the abilities they once used do enough of a semblance of the same thing to come to any sort of understanding. Actually, I am sure they don't, and that I have absolutely no interest in mag NB's at this time for PVE in general. Utility is what made NB interesting.

Nightblades have not gotten a single significant buff to their playstyle for YEARS. The ONLY thing that got buffed was Spectral Bow not dropping stacks if recast early, and ability to cast Shade without a target.

Everything else has gotten nerfs! Everything from damage to utility to cc to sustain! Everything got nerfs! It only seems “”“OP””” because every other class has been beaten down since Morrowind so much that it seems that way to people who don’t understand what context is

Did anyone complaining about NBs actually bother to read the OP? They are complaining it is unfair that some, I’m assuming low level, NBs are cloaking through delves in PvE. Cloaking in PvE really serves no purpose except to escape a guard that catches you stealing. There are much better skills to slot than cloak in PvE.

Only terribad stam players had/haveissues killing sorcs, myself and many other stam build players happily slaughtered them and enjoyed good fights with sorcs who actually could play properly.

Be aware, that not all PvPers are whiney brats who scream nerfs cos they cannot kill things, some of us actually adapt and keep conquering..

Only issue with nightblades is that cloak is too powerful when considering the effort that goes into detection for some characters. Instant defense with guaranteed crit. OK I especially dislike it since I often play werewolf

They’re only better because of other classes getting nerfed harder

They were a joke of a class for a very long time, and got no buffs to change that. Other classes just got nerfs they didn’t need. And Morrowind happened.

It seems OP does not do serious PvE. No strong Pve NB build uses cloak.

OP just seems to be raging because he is upset their class got nerfed. Really lacks logic to call for nerfs like this. Most of what is said in the OP just does not make sense either.

If he wanted to play a stealth oriented class, he should have picked Nightblade as his class.

I don't roll a Nightblade to play a brawler, the same way I don't roll a Dragon Knight to utilize invisibility.

First of all I don´t think I´ll meet a sorc with piercing mark

"Syftningsfel" as we say.

Second, it is not like nightblades have some innate weakness when not cloaked. Restoration staff for magicka and vigor for stamina works same as for others. Siphoning strikes got boosted. Strife is still great, especially the ego morph (I always use ego morphs, you people who want team play can play football

).

I am not saying it is uncounterable, but it sure is one big advantage.

If you have an issue with players skipping portions of mobs in vanilla content, such as delves, (NBs using cloak, or other classes using invisibility pots), you need to spend more time focusing on leveling your own toon - by that I mean gaining the type of experience and knowledge of the game that leads to game mastery. Once achieved, the things you complain about become a non-issue and will make you chuckle when you see this type of behavior as you think to yourself 'noobs ... LOL!'

They can nerf when they decide to separate PvE from PvP and honestly, who the hell cares who stealths through delves. I have a nightblade that doesn't even use class skills and I have no problem killing everything in the delves and the boss solo(gold vet level). If you can't do that, you better learn to play. My nightblade is my crafter. She only uses bow and dual wield skills. Myself and a DK argonian 2 manned a vet dungeon the other night with no problems.
