Disappointed

I'm so dissatisfied and disappointed on the decline of this game, 4 year long problems, new content being released and bringing back old or new bugs, lag constantly affecting game play, if I could I would get all my money back I spent on this game. It's Unbelievable on where this company has gone since launch, I really thought you guys had something releasing this game. But honestly this game has not improved.

Technically no, it hasn't, it actually got worse.
But content wise it got alot better

Biggest issue i have faced is Ping jumping to 999+, other than that small issues are ignorable.

Developer made nerf and buff which results mostly into balance failure, this made me frustate most of time.

With #NerfMire I no longer like my Magicka DPS in PVP, lower defence and too many counters.

This game is not "absolutely terrible". That is only your opinion, like other people have other opinion. What makes you think, that your opinion is the only one that counts?

Servers are absolute garbage yes. Performance is in the toilet. Trials are a pipe dream for me as I simply crash whenever a fight starts. The rare times where I force myself to go into PvP, I lag and crash. No point.
It’s a shame because the actual content itself is quite good, if it actually worked.
So, terrible? Yes, but only the performance. They finally find the magic word/wand/spell/beans to fix that, this will be a top notch game.

The worst part is ZOS started cashgrab schemes with stimulating people to sub fjr 3+months.
This usually starts to practice when financial results gets bad.
Can't say i that's the case.

It´s your opinion. And there was nothing constructive about your post. If you don´t like the game, go away please, or post something constructive.

Personally I don´t have lag issues unless playing in Vivec, so I don´t play in Vivec. Never crashed in a trial AFAIR, maybe once or twice. Good performance overall, so maybe the problem isn´t with ZOS? Game is good as a whole, when the negatives outweigh the positives, I take a break, and will quit someday.

I play this game since few months. I would give it a score 6/10, I would say it has it strong sides as pve questing, I think it's very original and top class while everything else in this game (gameplay,..) is in my opinion on average f2p standard, some elements (as trading system) even bellow what f2p offer. But there gives not many, almost any other newer pve mmorpg out there, at least not in the west, you don't have much of a choice by this genre. Usually you come across pvp mmorpg's in the west, which are kinda middle age shooters with hardly any content at all. I don't think Eso is a bad game, for me it's fun for solo questing & exploring, it's not easy in this game to find anyone to play with, in everything else,...is eso not the best adress.

Got to agree, Vivec prime time is a no go which is a shame but that’s it for me. Performance in trials has improved for me to the point where I’m not bothering switching off add ons like MM and never disconnect. content released has been good, although maybe on the short side. Doing more events and the event tickets I think is a good idea as well.

My main bug bear is the short sighted and heavy fisted approach to balance at times and this patch is a glaring negative for how not to change the game but overall I’d say performance is much better in general than it was a year or so back and certainly compared to launch.

The ping fluctuations are terrible in Cyrodiil. You can have a loading screen even when doing nothing, like crouching in place for several minutes, in stealth, suddenly a loading screen appears for few seconds. I had this already several times and that's completely unpredictable and thus very annoying.

There's something squirrely with the lag lately. (Specifically, latency issues.) Someone did some traceroute testing, and pinned it on their DDOS protection service.

So, that kid who threw a tantrum last year after getting banned got the last laugh, it seems. ****.

That said, I think the team said they know about it, so hopefully we won't be suffering too much longer on that front.

Spent most of last night in Vivec either Disconnecting (3 times), Lagging like a Boss or in Mini Load-Screens.
When in PVP I turn off all of my add-on's, so I can't even attribute it to that.

Walking from one side of an empty keep to the other I had 3 mini load screens, then a further one as I mounted onto my horse just outside the gate.
I rode to Bleakers and went inside, noticed there were no guards and knew I was about to D/C again.
Got back into game, after a couple of "That Account is already logged in" Error messages.
Loaded into Bleakers and got another mini load screen.

Decided to head to Roebeck instead - as it looked less busy - ported to Nickel and got the same bug as in Bleakers, couldn't open a door + no guards........incoming D/C, Again.

That was about as much as I could take so I logged out for the night. Probably won't bother logging in tonight.

At least pve content in Cyrodiil is free of latency issues - while fighting mobs inside Cyro delves I wasn't getting a single loading screen

I completely get what you mean. However, for me it's performemce. Imho, though, the game has improved dramatically since launch. Although it is riddled with infuriating bugs, and obnoxious things like over use of mob snares like the old maelific wreath, mounts cant swim, jumping over something to get to a wayshrine or unable to walk up a slight incline, etc.

I've read sometime around 2016, somewhere (might have been even this forum, not sure) that the management is in utter chaos, the right hand doesn't know what the left one does, leadership lacks a clear and structured sense of direction etc.
Guess that has not been changed since then, and it shows with the game.

I don't agree ..

The game has gotten way better content-wise AND system-wise over the years.
It's no more bugged than any other MMO, really.

Of course, most people on these forums shout promises of plagues and declines each time a skill is modified ..

If I was ZoS ... I would laugh at the vocal minority, and keep cathering to the vast silent majority.

Man, I don’t know about you guy’s platform but PS4 EU is a ghost town atm.

All the old school top tier players have left the game and it just feels so empty AND laggy atm.
This is honestly the quietest I’ve ever seen ESO and it feels weird that the decline has been witnessed happen from patch to patch

Agree with you, mate. Trials aren't always easy for me due latency issue. Bugs are all over the place, I avoid murkmire most of the time, cause the lag there is insane. My ping gets overboard, hell, I once had 3k ping in my psijic home, which happened after murkmire patch.

I can't pull off any decent rotation when I need it the most cause the game doesn't register what I put in properly. I have invested quite a lot of stupid money into game, cause I enjoy it and want to show my support, but man, these issues surely are killing my mood to play and my will to support the game further is going out of the window real fast.

I am really considering not renewing my sub when it expires this month cause why bother when the dev's are not bothering fixing Jack squad.

And I am not only talking about the bugs that came with this new patch, I am talking also about the ones that are STILL here from the beginning. The fact I still get stuck in heavy attack animation after all this year is UNACCEPTABLE.

Yeah, sure, I will adapt and overcome regarding 'balance' stuff. Adapting to Problems and bugs, that shouldn't be there in the first place for a game I paid for and monthly pay, to support a company that obviously doesn't gives a cakehole in the end?

Why doing something that is disappointing you for 4 years? Just quit and be happy. An easy way out as ESO will never be good for you.
Nothing negative here. I tried to play another MMO with my friend, I was disappointed and I just stopped playing it instead of going to their forum and writing pointless things.

And what makes you THINK I believe only my opinion counts? I've played this game since beta and when it launched so unlike others who don't understand a game is supposed to progress not decline when more content is released, performance should never have gotten this bad.

Funny, because this doesn't even equate to a negative post! It clearly is stating the decline of this game, which each new content being released the game has seen OLD and new, bugs that have surfaced, performance has gotten terrible, skills misfire, lag occurs in pve and in trials when it shouldn't bosses will glitch out in trials which in turn you have to start over again, so all you negative people commenting can go elsewhere, I'm speaking from a day one players perspective, half of you barely just started playing and throw money at a unfinished product, and the other half are nothing but troll forums who get off by posting their negative responses.

Jesus CHRIST lol you guys dont get it do you? I'm disappointed because this is a really good game, or should be the performance has hit an all time low, and it should of never gotten this bad with the release of newer content, you guys I swear just pin point out certain things people write, and before thinking you start typing like a maniac.
