It bugs me that I have a beautiful property richly appointed with the finest furniture yet I can't fix the cracks in the walls or ceiling or replace broken paving stones on the ground. My idea to fix this would be for them to add a toggle in the housing options with a choice for a house having either a new appearance, and moderately used appearance, or completely abandoned and rundown appearance. It would definitely take some work on their end for the art team to modify the houses and the programmers to implement it in game but it would be a great housing update that would really let us customize the look of our houses.

Yep, it's in the way, I don't mind broken things, it's a style. But this is a physical obstacle, this could be anywhere else, but it's in front of the main stairs.
Old problem
This stone has come off the top of the wall can not be moved or removed in the Serenity fall estate.
Don't make minor stuff but that is an eyesore.
