Question for the hive mind:
In Blackrose in Arena 4 (the one that repeats everything you have done so far) on round 2 (the one where the fire boss comes up for the first time), what is the trigger for wave 3 (the wave that actually has the boss in it)?
We know that you can get the waves one at a time (I have very rarely seen it but I know it can happen), but consistently waves 2 and 3 are spawning on top of each other. While we are still doing it, it really is messing with our runs and we are wasting vit on it. Is it intended to have two waves spawn on top of each other?

if you kill all mobs on the 1st wave before 2nd wave spawned, then wave 2 & 3 will spawn together.

jypcy✭✭✭✭✭Iirc there’s both a cleaver and a fire mage in the first wave that are chewier mobs. We typically leave the cleaver alive until we’ve dealt with most things in the second wave to prevent the third wave from spawning, but if you have someone dedicated to watching the fire mage to interrupt the channels, he’s probably easier to keep alive because he’ll be out of stack.0 -
Halke✭✭✭Awesome, thanks for the feedback. I think we are going to just leave cleaver alive and see if that works. Fighting them together may be faster, but wow is it a bloody mess.0
