I rolled another stamblade and decided to make this one 2h. Is anyone getting joy with a similar setup on the current patch? I don't really know how to go about making a build for the newest changes.
Surprise Attack still looks silly on anything other than dual wield.
That's why i use dizzying swing on my 2h stamnb. It just looks off to do this quick dagger slice when holding a HUGE sword/axe/hammer
Bosmer Stamina NB
Altmer Magicka TEMP
Dunmer DK both stam/mag (depends what I feel like)
Altmer Magicka NB
Breton Magicka Sorc
Redguard Stam Sorc
Max CP

Too bad it's (one of) the best stamina spammables in the game. Really wish some animations would adapt to your weapon setup. Flurry stabbing animation looks dumb with axes and maces. Biting Jabs look dumb with everything, etc.
But I guess I'm highjacking the threat now...
Lol. I've never considered the animation part of it. I'm thinking of using an Advancing greatsword and jewellry with Relequen bodypieces and bow. Haven't gotten a Maelstrom bow to drop yet. Stormfist for the monster set maybe?
I love 2 handed on my Stamblade. The 2handed execute is good for splash AoE and the stamina regen passive when killing enemies is nice. The only problem I have with 2 handed builds is the lack of crit. I wish ZoS would add spears and let them be the 2 handed version of daggers.
