I'm making a new report after commenting on two other Bug Report posts that were similar. My reason for a new one is not to spam the forum or anything like that but instead make a report that is specific to what's occurring for me, which the other two were not (but close).

How is it possible it's my system/hardware if re-logging always fixes it?
What can I do to make this stop? It's becoming exhausting having to go to character select and then back in to the game every 5 to 50 minutes.
Has anyone ever had this? I found bug reports filed like this all the way back to 2015.

Nothing. The last one should of fixed this problem too.

I would like to note one minor (or foundational; not sure) detail that I seem to be noticing [in pattern of this bug occurring] and that is: it appears to happen, and I'm not 100% certain on this, is when I close a panel (character, inventory, skills, loot, etc) too fast *just* (<-- the keyword) after I opened it this bug seems to rear its head. Anyone else? Not always, perhaps not even sometimes, but it seems I have a 1:20 chance of this bug happening after closing a Panel that was *just* opened (ex: I'll hit the inventory button then accidentally move forward, and BAM, insta-40 FPS-loss that I never get back until relogged).

- I have a major FPS drop when playing the game (no length of time playing makes a difference; could be a few minutes or an hour)
- Solid 60+ FPS down to low 20's
- When it happens it's instantly; no reason I can see (can be in densely populated areas or sparse)
- Example: (when the bug is occurring) facing a crowd of players and npcs, tons of environmental objects and effects I'll have 20 FPS. Then if I relog (just to character select and back) and look at the same scene, same direction it's back to 60+ FPS

- Updated all drives for all hardware (nothing was needed btw)
- Put all Video settings on the lowest possible
- Removed all addons
- Tried Fullscreen, Windowed
- Drank some beer
Nothing. The last one should of fixed this problem too.

[Re-]Launching the game will undoubtedly fix it, yes [until it occurs again in 5, 10, 20, or 60 minutes] but Just going out to Character Select screen and then back into the game fixes it as well; don't have to completely close down the application or even back out to the Log In screen.0
