AKA Punctilious Conflict, how does one play this game? (it would be great if we as players could interact or "play" these games we furnish)
So far, these are our "Nord house rules" based on what we know about Elves and their ways:
1) Proper form and etiquette are important, so never forget to allow the richest person to win regardless of the score.
2) Khajiit and Argonians are banned from playing due to claws scratching the balls or balls disappearing altogether. (Unfortunately, kicking Khajiits in the belly to see if they rattle after a match has resulted in more disemboweled Khajiits than swallowed balls recovered.)
3) You may only handle your own balls, touching your opponent's balls is a foul unless you are busting them. (see 9)
4) All balls begin inside their base, with the exception of one pair of "free balls" who begin the game in an unrestricted postition.
5) Balls that do not leave base, or do not "drop", do not count toward victory and are not in play.
6) You may capture your opponent's balls only if you possess double the balls of the balls you intend to capture.
7) You cannot have "secret" balls, all balls must be openly declared and on the table, clearly visible to your opponent at all times.
8) The person with the most money starts out with the most balls.
9) When you are about to grab an opponent's balls, you are required to berate them and judge every mistake they've made up to that point. This is called "busting your opponents balls" and if they make the same mistake twice you must remind them of this no less than 4 times a week for two months despite the match being long over.
10) Victory is achieved only after you have successfully busted everybody else's balls, or caused their balls to retreat back inside from where they drop.
Do others play differently? What are your "house rules"?
