What we really need and want is something that has been asked for for years now: for ZoS to fix the lag issues in PvP.

    I like the outposts. At least you get some new scenery to fight around. They should make them do something though like house relics that pop up on the map randomly for short duration. Something to get more scroll run type fights.

    After this much time it is clear Zos is not fixing the lag. They lack the technical understanding and expertise to figure out a solution and seem to choose to not bring anyone in that can get the job done.

    I don’t think fixing cyro lag is profitable, and that’s the only reason Zos doesn’t do it. They know only a smaller amount of players play pvp. And that play base has very few whales

    If Zos announced they were fixing server and lag issues with PvP the goodwill generated would be huge, it might bring a lot of people back from the brink; and the attendant benefits of competitive PvP, twitch and youtubers generating discussion, could make a big difference.

    A bit of wishful thinking, but the only way to get people to spend money on the game is to get people playing the game.

    I know I'd be in Cyrodiil a whole lot more than I am if it wasn't such a rigmarole just to get booted or frozen, or to have skills not trigger, or all the other things that *** in my cereal.

    Not really with the dwindling population of console pvp (specifically EU) it's not enough to bring new or encouraging former players to return and certainly not with the patch that shall not be named :#

    Well, there was a very interesting scroll run in which the opposing faction tried to hinder our advance at all costs by destroying the gates. We ended up having to use the tunnels and fought them, like 35 vs 50 players in a very small space.

    It was scary. We managed to wipe them in the end, though.

    It may have hindered small scale PvP, but I play solo most of the time and didn’t really mind it.

    I was looking at the outpost locations on the map. They seem to be placed to benefit pve players.
    Close to skyshards, delves, etc that were previously harder to get to because of distance.

    Now they can just port and have less of a ride if they get ganked.

    They have said balls of people in locations create the lag, we know this. Having more places to fight over etc spreads the battle out (in principle) so might they help lag, potentially yes.

    Do we need them strategically, unsure. And EP get the shaft a bit with theirs. Which is odd.

    There are dotted lines on map near the new keeps and towns, between EP and AD there is a bridge though.

    I'm done with this game because of ZOS pushing us into Vengeance, because they don't know how to fix Cyrodiil.

    I think these are a good addition. Early days for me, but its shaken up the battle a bit.
