enchants addressed, now speed please

I did not think ZOS would address the enchants as quickly as they did. Now that they have dealt with them appropriately, I feel that we need to start up the conversations and focus on speed.

My take, I am fine with the speed potion nerfs. I would personally like to see skills that give speed have their duration increased. If someone wants to float around the battlefield they should be able to do so albeit with the properly associated skill.

Example: Quick Cloak speed duration should be something like 8 to 10 seconds.

    That change to quick cloak is massive. It was only like 4/5 sec before, increasing it to 8/10 is a huge buff.

    8/10 should be boundless because of the high cost and little benefits. Class skills should be tweaked accordingly.

    I think they should bring back the duration on speed pots and standardize all abilities that grant major expedition to 10s, but nerf major expedition to 20% or 25% speed, keep major gallop to 30% or whatever it is now.

    Spot on, 100% agree. Skill by skill. Pots & Swift Nerf I'm ok with.

    However happy for boundless to stay 4 sec if it gets some other buff like cc immunity :)

    Would you be willing to trade this change for lowering the speed cap?

    To be honest, Zos made these changes with an intent concerning the speed they were seeing/was being reported.

    With that it seems fairly clear Zos is not going to just turn around and increase durations of this buff after decreasing durations for the reasons they gave. Merely suggesting it without offering an alternative will not go very far.

    This is ZOS, suggesting while offering an alternative, still is not likely to go very far.

    Giving abilities that give expedition such as Quick Cloak, Falcons Swiftness and Boundless Storm a longer duration of 6-8 seconds seems like a good way to go. I don't think having 100% speed uptime without trying makes any sense but neither does spamming Quick Cloak every 4s like a lunatic.

    Another suggestion would be to make one of the Psijic Acceleration morphs instant cast with 6-8 seconds of expedition uptime. This will allow many slower magicka specs to be mobile and somewhat less frustrating to play in open world, especially when solo.

    Double Take has always been 4 seconds with a similar cost. Why is it so hard for everyone else to get on board?
