Single target dot effects no longer proc enchants, the cheese gets toned down - nice!

    I don't agree. This would have been a huge nerf to PvP. With how they did it now, you can still proc all your enchants on your frontbar if you keep attacking. It rewards active gameplay, instead of applying DoTs and turtling up.

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but DW backbar tanks never procced enchants from backbar before Murkmire. I don't see how this is a nerf to PVE, if we compare to before Murkmire.

    Before the enchant change and major evasion change there was no DW backbar tank. Now there is nothing but blade cloak backbar to proc enchants. And only 1 will proc now per tick which is fine.. but yes. This is a huge nerf to that build and a small nerf to stam DPS.

    I am not promoting DoT and turtle up. But if they simply reduced the damage, it still would have the same effect. You still want to pressure more with LA weaving.

    And this would only end in usual builds being even weaker while the enchants builds would remain relatively stronger, % gap would be still the same.
    I'm done with this game because of ZOS pushing us into Vengeance, because they don't know how to fix Cyrodiil.

    @daemondamian , first thing first, I stress that I can't generalize, it may be just my build, class and rotation, so everyone else's mileage may vary - just sharing results of my own tests. What I'm describing is a DW/Bow build (strictly in PvE context), and two situations I compared were absorb stamina off hand + berserker on bow, and the opposite - berserker off hand + absorb on the bow.

    Before the latest fix, off hand enchantment was proc'd by damage ticks from rending slashes, even while your rotation happens on the back bar, so the enchantments of off hand and bow bar were more or less in equal standing. Now though, the only DoT from DW line that can proc enchantments would be Cloak, and it ticks with rather low rate, every three seconds. So this time around, there are no 'free' procs of front bar enchantment throughout whole rotation. I did some tests, and in my particular case (again, it might be just rotation) it was either putting absorb on back bar (letting it proc from Hail every 2s consistently) or putting berserker there (getting better uptime on weapon damage). And for me, turned out that having better berserker uptime from bow bar (~100% vs. 82% on off hand, for about 81 weapon damage before buffs) didn't outweigh the damage I lost by having fewer absorb procs on off hand (since now absorb is silent on back bar, and only procs on the front). Absorb ticking every 2 seconds turned out more beneficial for me than 81 extra weapon damage. Again, that's just my case, I'm elaborating on it to give full picture.
