I am testing gryphon's ferocity set (3 sec of major expedition on direct dmg attacks). I proc it with light attacks. Still, could use better ways. Sprinting is not good enough for kiting.

I changed to steed mundus and worked in blade cloak, but the duration is just too short.

Isn't it minor expedition? And if you soley care about speed, jailbreaker has 100% uptime on minor.

Still moving faster than light as a stamsorc. 3 swifts + windrunning + the steed + minor expe and major expe from buffs. No pb at all.

i think they should inscrase sprint speed by 5-10%, it is so hard rn to 1vx ranged type enemy

I had a feeling this would result in solo players just being ranged down constantly

For how long at best? 15 seconds?

Sacrificing 3 jewelry traits, a mundus, 3k stam every 4 seconds and having to play a specific class to be somewhat fast is not what I call "no problem at all".

Personally, the nerfs to maj exp uptime really blows for me. Instead on using pots (which is a choice as well), I need to burn stam every 4s. 4s which I can't even fully use bc of how snares are slapped on everything and how short snare immunity is now. Casting 2 skills, burning 6k stam just to be a bit faster for not even 4 *** seconds is not an interesting choice at all. But the given sources of mE are also lackluster.
If I use shuffle for snare removal, blade cloaks evasion becomes redundant. But blade cloak is one of the few ways to get maj expedition. So remove shuffle and run FM? But then I can't use Rally. Or use a bow as backbar and mE source but then I loose out on either DW (rending) or 2h (rally). I don't like it at all.

I think it would be great if the athletics passive would be movement speed as a whole, maybe by an lower amount, in addition to sprint speed.

Personally bow for major, my build focuses on roll dodge, so x7 medium with x7 well fitted (ideally, I have a heavy monster helm grr)

I'm moving away from DW as I feel most players have or will be building to counter DW

People are so mad that they cant move so fast that no one can touch them, not even each other. It was broken folks. Broke af. And if you l2p it's no big deal anyhow. I refused to run swift because I knew it was broken, and there is no value to playing a game with what is essentially a cheat enabled, and I still got 30 kill BGs and 1vXs open world with just wind running, minor from hurricane, and major from bow. If I had stacked 30% swift on top I would have had to not have thumbs to ever get touched by another player. The speed of some people was just dumb until they nerfed swift, cant say they needed to nerf major minor expedition, but whatever, ZOS always does sweeping nerfs. Kinda used to it now.

This isnt about swift. Its about speed pots

You really didn't specify though...you said "speed nerfs".

Start farming Roguish Escape Draughts, I hear they are unaffected by the nerfs.

Simple: I never crutched on speed and I use a melee magplar and DK in light armor at base speed 99.9999%, so medium is easy mode, especially when a bow is involved.

The larger percentage of speed pot users I saw on PS4 rarely used them in actual open combat against Zergs, they used them to run circles around the tower at resources and cause you to spend 10 or 15 minutes chasing a couple of guys in circles. I used speed pots as my go to as well but I'm glad to see them majorly nerfed as they did not improve the quality of combat. If snares continue to be a major issue then snares are what need to be adjusted instead of player speed.

Nope. Perma max speed as I'm using Quick Cloak with Blackrose weapons. I have no problems sustaining that. I have more than enough melee power to kill people.

The game still allows people to be ultra fast. It should not. Swift shouldn't have existed.

That means at least 2.2k more stam usage every 4s just for the cloak compared to pre-murkmire where you could run pots (on a sorc with 7 medium, 0 reduction glyphs), which translates to 1.1 regen needed soley for the speed buff to just even out. If I'm not having a brain fart right now.
That plus what I mentioned earlier, therefore I wouldn't call that "no problem at all". You have my undivided attention on the rest your build.

But yes, swift caused the uproar and *** over a playstyle that wasn't broken before.

Yeah, I also have a new set up for my Stam builds. Pretty universal set up really. Though Templar has a few unique toolkits that work really well; especially with the 2h ult...
