i feel like they went way to hard on the speed nerfs, all it did was buff ball groups, i feel like having speed pots run for 30 seconds sounds like a much better change, just feels way to slow now
What they should have done was increased the time of abilties that gave speed to go along with the nerfs to speed pots.
I always felt that speed pots were broken... as a Stam class, we always had major expedition up. Likewise, I always felt that a skill chosen to be on your bar should be the indicator as to whether you wanted speed. If you wanted speed, it should have been a skill that gave you that speed... just like an armor buff which lasts 20 or so seconds, skills that gave speed should likewise give this sort of speed duration.
There are sets which give speed increase too BUT it's usually a pretty big sacrifice to use those sets instead of full on damage sets etc.
So if you want speed, you should be able to have it so long as you put the skill on your bar.
Instead, ZOS went too far and not only nerfed speed pots into the ground but also did the same with skills.
I hated to see the speed pot reduced to 15 seconds instead of 45. For a few weeks my DK had great mobility...
But, what I'm doing now is adjusting. I don't just spam the speed pot, but carefully choose when to use that 15 seconds. I guess this is the point. It also saves money ;0
4 GOs, and General, and bunches of prefects etc-- all classes...I've wasted a lot of time in PVP over the last 8 years

Just want to add that speed nerfs were an indirect buff to ball groups because in turn snares are now more effective.
I still think that snares should be put in the major/minor system tbh.
