I play as a stamden and was wondering how much my penetration should be? I run with lover mundus stone, and I put points into piercing via CP tree. But how much should I aim for?

✭✭Depends if your tank runs Alkosh and has enough synergies/skill to keep high uptime. Second dependance is if your group contains a stamina templar (I doubt you find a masochist templar healer with Power of the Light).
Let's assume you have all of this, Lover mundus with 7 gold divines pieces, standard Veli/Relequen/AdvancingYokeda/vMA bow setup.
18200-5280-2108-4197-3010-1320 = 2285.
If this is the case, 25 points.

✭✭✭✭✭For general purpose PvE work, I'd recommend just over 9k worth of penetration. That covers most non boss mobs, yet for tougher fights, allows for the benefit of any buffs to boost your pen up toward the ~18k or so that bosses generally have.
As far as cp, that is only one source for your pen so the answer depends on your set up. The answer will vary depending on the mundus stone you mentioned as well as use of Spiggans set, sharpened trait etc.
I know you said stamden but for mag dps players, the light armor passive makes reaching your target pen easier than for stam players.PC NA(no Steam), PvE, mostly solo0
