Should battlegrounds have more modes?

So battlegrounds has been in the game for quite some time now. And it seems like the purpose is to simulate alliance war on a small scale. And while 4v4v4 isn't that bad, and can be pretty fun, I feel like they need to change things up. Add a 6v6 with new arenas to explore, or an 8 player free for all. ZOS has the capability, it's just a matter of execution. But perhaps I'm the only player craving a little variety.

    i would like to see like to see also of variations of numbers for group and also a battle royal mode as they're all the rage atm.

    I would like to see list of players sorted by time played in descedning order (called leaderboard by ZoS) removed and ranked mode added.

    EU can't even get the ones they have to work right now. You'll get pulled into a match with 2 teams, and the 3rd never populates.

    Everyone gets to leave and gets deserter bonus as a result.
    Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

    Earn it.

    Probably has checkbox on Customer Service profile that say High Aggro, 99% immunity to BS

    I agree, a tweak to the current BG's would be nice, but many don't even know how to play what we have currently, so...

    Those of you asking for Battle Royale DMs have obviously never seen my Templar. :D Even without CP, it takes at least 4+ players to bring it down. The only way a Battle Royale mode would work is if every class had the same pre-set skill loadout and no access to gear. No one would play it.

    Battle royale in ESO would be horrible. Balance or more like lack of it would allow certain setups to insanely abuse weakneses of that match type.

    Optimization of the maps would be a good start and maybe adding more game modes with more players. I would love to see a 10v10 or 15v15. A two faction battleground would make more sense with those numbers.

    A 6v6 objective mode is pretty needed imo. 3 team stuff is casually fun, but the 2 team experience is so much better. There’s a reason pretty much every small scale PvP game is 2 team based.

    While the idea of an ESO battle royal may seem cool, @Aurielle and @Juhasow aren't wrong. Anyone who has seen two pvp legends duel, will know exactly what the end will look like. A very long stalemate between two or more players who are nearly invincible. Regardless, it's a cool concept, but a terrible reality. I do however, still think an 8 player FFA is viable. Since the other 7 players would likely band together to kill such a hardened opponent. Would it be really annoying to come across? Without a doubt. But I think a cool balance would be a power decrease over time. Should a player remain alive for more than a minute (perhaps 2 minutes would be better), they will slowly start to lose defensive, and offensive capabilities. What does this mean? It means players are forced to act quickly, and will not be able to one man army the entire match. Yes, this also means you're extremely unlikely (if possible at all) to get a flawless match, but that's not a problem. It's a bloody free for all, not a walk in the park. I have a few ideas for what such an arena would look like, as well as how score and time limit would work. Again, ZOS has the capability. It's just a matter of 'will it ever happen'.

    I think we need more people, 12v12v12 will do. Now 4v4v4 is such a random, more players - more averaged groups will be.

    this is true but what other mmo battle royal modes don't have the same balancing problems

    Ok.... while i'd love to see more game modes added, please try to keep them simple. I mean, a large portion of the current player base can't understand Chaosball and Capture the Relic, and they seem to have this terrible allergy to flags.

    I swear sometimes it's like they queue for random and then just decide no matter what to play deathmatch and then get annoyed when they lose with like a 200 player score.

    A game type like "Maul" where you score points based on the amount of damage that you do as an individual and as a team (7 minute time limit, team with most cumulative damage wins) is one i've thought would be fun and even the "Everything = Deathmatch" crowd can actually manage the objective properly.

    That’s just one of the reasons I hate Deathmatch. I can’t stand Deathmatch mode. At all. Doesn’t matter if (big IF)I win, it’s dumb.

    And I hope they will never bring battle royale/ last man standing. The amount of salt that will pour forth from that screaming about cheese builds and people who stay perma stealthed and so on will be indescribable.

    Name one MMORPG with battle royale that have no isse with it. Also other MMO ≠ ESO
