can't start quest

I want to clear up all quests in Glenumbra however there is a quest called Werewolves to the North still showing on my map. How do I get this started? Wyress Gwen has no quests for me and apparently she is the quest giver. Only this and Taking the Fight to the Enemy are left to complete.

If all else fails abandon quest and retrace.

EDIT: it might be you already bypassed it, its not a proper quest.

Thats the problem - I have no quests in Glenumbra to complete. Says I have completed 53 quests in Glenumbra

Since you have the quest Werewolves to the North showing on your map, maybe you already spoke to Wyress Gwen and forgot.

From the description, you’ve almost certainly already done this quest. It’s just the intermediary step to bring you to the next main story quest in Camlorn.

If you’re using an add on to check for available quests, those have been known to be bugggy sometimes. I still have a marker showing for the very firsts starter quests in Stros M’kai and for a quest in Rivenspire I know I’ve done already

If you're using an addon to show quests you've not done then there's 2 types which may show up even after you've finished everything:

1) Quests with multiple start points/quest givers. You'll pick it up from one of them and some addons will still show the others as uncompleted.

2) Introductory/link quests (like this one).These are just here to encourage you to do the story in the right order, some are given when you end one quest to send you on to the next one, some are only given if you get ahead of yourself - if you go to a location before doing the quest/s that introduce you to what's going on there they'll send you back to do that first. If you do things in the right order those disappear.

If you are on a pc, try the following addon:

it shows all completed quests, listed by zones, and it'll indicate if you finished this quest, which is little more than a pointer, telling you where to go for the next part of glenumbra's alliance storyline. sometimes these storyline pointers are optional quests, and that's often indicated on the uesp site. however this quest isn't indicated as optional. the required quests that make up the alliance storyline are linear though. so if you did the next quest, called a duke in exile, then you either did the werewolves one, or skipped it. the addon shows me that that's what my character did.

Downloaded the addon and it says that I haven't completed that quest. I have done A Duke in Exile though
