is the healing to strong in this game

on another thread i suggested getting a vigor like skill for magicka users on a second thought i wondered how much it actually heals. i noticed that vigor heals 17k+ and ppl around 13k+ for only 2135 stamina over 5 seconds on one video and on another video from alcast for example it heals about 14 k self.
are heals in this game overkill.... even in dungeons i notice as a tank either way im 1 shot killed or i dont die at all. i think heals are to easy on the resources. imagine a dmg ability which deals that amount in 5 seconds with such cost efficiency..... its even an aoe. either way i think dmg should be buffed or healing nerfed. but as i stated i feel in dungeons the healing is overtuned.

    Maybe. They half their strength in PVP. Same thing they do with shields which were targeted to be nerfed because supposedly they made healing irrelevant in PVE.

    If you ask me, it all has to do with any counter to damage scaling off mostly the same stat as damage. What should be glass cannons, wind up having the best shields and heals.

    yes, but no. Healers in this game are a support class and that’s the reason for overhealing. Your primary job is buff the party and give them resources. If you are able to keep the party alive with orbs, shards and combat prayer and also your buff and debuff on players/target is +90% uptime, you will be doing it amazing.

    Think this, spell power cure, Bis set until Summerset released, procs with overhealing.

    You probably do not realize that playing as a healer in this game is in own dimension when it comes to difficulty level, no other role comes even close to it. Healers should get double exp or double the rewards in this game for dungeon groups,...simply out of crazy group design, where argo fly everywhere almost nonstop, while healers in this game eh,..I don't think it's a bug but a feature which this game use - almost nonstop argo all across the group that makes healers so difficult to play, while they themselves are without any defence, no useful shields or whatever. Make a healer,...even Fungal Grotto 1 might turn to a pain with certain people.

    I don't think it's heals that's the problem, I think it's the cp level of all the dungeon bosses that need a tune up, power creep in this game is very noticeable.

    1. Magicka really does not need a version of Vigor magicka already has heal sources.

    2. I think your healing numbers for Vigor are a little high. On a DW bar I am getting a few k less than what you mention, in PvE. Those are certainly not PvP numbers.

    3. The dungeon scenarios have to do with dungeon difficulty and mechanics. Since launch ESO has been designed that players are required to be much more active in avoiding and mitigating damage they receive or they will die.
