Another being the trader companion which only buys, but doesn't repair, and banker which allows to access personal account bank, but not guild banks / traders, both for 5k Crowns. I have never heard of anyone being able to get a refund for eso services because it is very clear on their purchase page they dont give refunds. unless it was still inside the unbroken package. Even then I only see people giving you at best store credit.
I sincerely doubt you can get a refund.

people bought it, KNOWING it was going to be free. pretty much everyone I know who did it - did so becasue CE comes with mount and pet and they wanted mount and pet and buying them separately wouldn't save them any crowns.
you know what this reminds me off?
when company advertises their black friday sale for over a month before black friday, mentioning specific products that will be on sale. and people still buy things before black friday at full price and then complain about being cheated. if you have chosen to live under the rock and ignore all advertisement? that is YOUR problemdirty worthless casual.

This is actually a bigger slap in the face to subscribers which I expect Zos has thought about. Subscribers are the coveted source of revenue which is why Zos keeps adding perks to the ESO+ package. A subscription for one year costs more than all the DLCs launched in that year combined.0 -

Even if you just run up to a Lilmoth trader for a guild you're not in, you've already done something you normally couldn't do without access. If you purchased the 4000 crown Murkmire bundle, you basically got Murkmire for free. The horse is 3000 crowns separately, and the swamp jelly is 1000.
But I suppose I'll just have to cry myself to sleep that night with my head buried in all the gold I've made in Murkmire recipe and style mat sales.signing off3 -

✭✭✭✭✭As I post to someone else in a different thread about this, you bought the dlc, got immediate access to the content instead of having to wait weeks, got the additional items that came with dlc purchase. That the dlc will be a login reward in 4 weeks doesn't make any of those things untrue.
There's also a bit of caveat emptor at play here. The announcement of Murkmire as a daily reward came out long before the dlc was available to buy. ✭✭✭How do people stay so ignorant? This isn't meant as an insult, but a serious question. This was known well in advance, was talked about in guild chats and zone chats and apparently listed in the crown store description. Starting to think some people only bought it so they could *** about it later.
There's no reason for a refund, those of us that got it early also got the advantage of owning it a month before everyone who gets it free. Most the gold to be made in DLCs is in the first few weeks to a month, when the people get it free most the good stuff will already have flooded the market.

✭✭✭✭✭It was known that it will be free. The think is ZOS did not answer to numerous question people asked about the potential / lack of the potential different reward if you will buy the DLC earlier. They simply did not said "no" or "yes" - those questions were simply ignored & unanswered.
If they would say something like: "Keep in mind if you will buy this DLC earlier you will be missing out 1 "good" daily login reward in November" - then it would be no problem. But instead they simply ignored all the questions about this and they "preyed" upon simple hope & common sense that if you will buy it earlier you will not be punished for it. But now it looks like people who already have it will be simply missing one "good" daily login reward.

Not sure how this is ZOS screwing paying customers. People with subs get all this content included in their sub. People that pay nothing can log in daily for free and get the DLC for FREE by simply waiting a month to play the content. They mentioned this months ago so plenty of heads up. If you dont sub and wanted to play the content now, you pay for it. Seems not only reasonable but generous to give it away period much less within a month of release.0
