Constant disconnects, since last 3 days

Since 3 days ago I've been getting constant disconnects in ESO. I will be just standing around, or checking out traders and I will lag out. For a few seconds-a minute nothing will move and I will still be connected to the game, but it then always kicks me to the login screen.
My ISP is fine (I called), my internet connection is fine (steam, discord etc remains connected) - so only this game is affected, which means it's quite safe to assume it's the game.
This is extremely annoying when doing quests, dungeons and trials.
Any fixes, recommendations?

✭✭✭✭✭First off, the test the ISP does over the phone does not fully test the system if you are on DSL/Fiber type system. It tends to not detect the noise associated with the signal that keeps your data connection stable, but only the data connection itself.
I know from an arduous experience.
