Hello everyone,
So with spell strategist looking like the new Bis for single target magicka dps I'm have a few questions about it.
1. Will it only be from rewards of the worthy?
2. If so will past ROTW contain it?
3. Will it only be body pieces or will we be able to buy weapons & jewellery from the Elite gear vendors in the Alliance bases?

On pts it´s only from new rewards for the worthy and exclusively those. No other way to obtain it.

There will be weapons and jewelry from these new rftw.

That's a bit of a pain I've saved up ~100 ROTW so far in the hope of getting it quickly

Plus wouldn't this just lead to groups flipping keeps to farm ap which if it becomes popular will mean Zos will probably have to Nerf the amount of ap gained for capturing a keep

It's just more motivation for people to PvP. Let's not forget that the AP gain for a successful defense is often larger than capturing. Plus fighting over keeps is the very point of Cyrodiil (even in the present), and with a well coordinated defense it is not trivial.

If anything this will lead to more people trying PvP, which may worsen the lag in Vivec. God help us.

PS - PVPers don't make as much gold as PVE folks even though we spend the same amount of time in the game. We need AP for many reasons, one being that we can buy stuff using it.

I agree, pve players usually have more gold than pvp. ZoS should increase the ROTW gold from a pathetic 210 gold to some more worth while maybe like 2k gold? And even 2k per reward won't make someone rich in week.

While I'd also like the amount of gold to be increased for ROTW I don't think it should be by that much. It's easy enough to make 2 ROTW in an hour. If someone is in PVP for 6 hours they'd be coming out with a lot more gold than a PVE player could make in that time. I'll agree on an increase to 1k per box.

I think "small scale groups" aka ap tower farming groups will become more popular and make cyrodiil a boring place to be. That's if you can even get in with the pvers trying to earn ROTW and when you're in like you said the lag will be unbearable

2 ROTW/hour * 2k = 4k/hour in MooseKnuckles scenario. You are saying PVE can't make 4k/hour?

Personally, I make a consistent 10k/hour solo grinding cash in PVE when I need it. That's before any guild sales, as it's iffy whether you get a sellable drop or not, but, in general I usually average an extra 5-10k per hour in trader sales on top of the dropped cash and npc sales.

In 6 hours of PVE I can hit 100k+ in cash and future inventory (trader sales are not instant, of course).

Per your scenario, 6 hours of RotW is currently 2.5k gold + trader sales (right now with the new sets dropping RotW, there is money to be made on trader sales, but, in a couple of months RotW gear will be common and cheap again). RotW doesn't even come close.

I don't have data on how much is made/lost in trial and arena PVE, because I never do it, but, when I solo pledges I generally hit my 10k+ per hour in cash rate as well. Is this unusual? Are trials/arenas heavy gold sinks that I am unaware of?

Cyrodiil has behaved rather normally on PC since the update dropped. Pieces of this set are selling for a very good price.

It only encourages more to PvP, or spend a nice chunk of gold.

1. Currently, yes.
2. No. I tested. Old ROTW contain old sets. New containers contain new sets.
3. All pieces are available. New ROTW boxes drop weapons and jewelry as well. They haven’t said whether they plan to have AP bags with these new sets to my knowledge.
