Case in point I believe many of us have had problems where someone's combat pet would block an object and we can't interact/loot with various objects because of the combat pets.
I'm sometimes annoyed by my own twilight pet, especially in closed environments (like delves), those pesky wings are always between the camera and the container I'm trying to open, so I always unsummon in cities; that said, allowing to interact with object through the pets would be great

Except there was this huge-ass bear standing ON the counter, between the banker and everyone else.
People wiggled around. People jumped like mad to try and get on the other side of the counter. People had to get creative because the NPC was fully eclipsed by a giant pet which would not move and was blocking interaction. Annoying to say the least. At least the owner only stayed there for a couple of minutes. Still aggravating if you're in a rush.
I'm convinced the devs think this is hilarious. There's enough things that seem like trolling to where I doubt they would ever stop this.

I wish I could adjust the distance my twilight keeps from me (within reason, of course).
Just a few feet further behind me, or a few feet larger radius further away from me, and behind me, when not playing her combat role.
She's always flapping her wings just a little to close to me in delves, when I'm trying to interact with hot-spots, or look at details.

Does the chat window show up while you look through the inventory, though?
Maybe he only saw the messages after closing the bag
We should get the choice so putting this in our character menu could solve the issue:
"show/hide other players' non-combat pets"
"turn/restore other players' combat pets into their equivalent avatars (matriarch into fly / clanfear into daedrat / bear into skeever)"
Please make it so!
