I think there should be an option in the crown store where you can purchase the craft bag with crowns. Then again, I'm sure they know most people, like myself, buy ESO+ solely for the craft bag, so I doubt they'd ever make it available through the crown store; they would probably lose a fair amount of money.
My friends that don't play the game think it's stupid how I have to ESO+ if I want to be a crafter... and I kind of agree. But, I still pay for my subscription just about every month. The extra housing/bank space is good too, though I could probably deal without them.
Is that this time of the year again? Shouldn't we be beating "auction house" dead horse now?

Ah, beautiful, wonderful, never-happening dreams... *wistful sigh*

They would be doing this regardless. Their time is more precious than everyone's else. Why would they bother to changejainiadral wrote: »I'm just imagining how much nicer it will be out overland if node/chest farmers had enough inventory space so they didn't have to cherry-pick contents..

I wonder how it was in times before craft bag was introduced to eso+.
Even less incentives to pay monthly fees?
Or the times were different and ZOS was not giving so many free stuff to non-subs as today.

There were loyalty rewards. Then with One Tamriel the loyalty rewards ended. ESO Plus started.

From early release to One Tamriel there was no craftbag. Those players, including myself, who were crafters, found ways to deal with it. I made alts, had two main crafters; one had smithing/woodworking/clothing and the second one had provisioning/alchemy/enchanting and when out questing neither one picked up mats or items that didn't "belong" to their areas. I did a lot of inventory shuffle, especially before I maxed account wide bank space and individual character inventory space. Guildmates and friends had mail with overflow items sent to them so they could bounce it back so I could distribute it to my alts and bank. It is possible to survive without the craftbag. Not necessarily the most fun, but definitely possible.
