The most interesting part is that you don't need to pay to have a lot of fun from playing ESO. It's probably the most generous game in modern MMO genre :).

I still say GW 2 is the most generous though imo

It was becoming a source of anxiety for me. A chore kind of. Spent way too much time in it. Along with other issues at the time. It was contributing, but wasn’t the entire cause. Part of some major life restructuring apparently involved not playing anymore. I thought I was taking a break, but the longer it is, the more I don’t feel compelled to log back in. Don’t want to play any games anymore it seems. I just realized as I write this that me still reading and commenting on this forum parallels for me personally as not letting go of an old relationship. Like drunk texting an ex.

That's what we all say, even myself when I left for a time. There ain't no game that will fill the ESO itch.

I left ESO for Trove... And that's saying something.

I left ESO for GW2 about 3 weeks ago, after confirming that the PTS changes was going to go live. For now I calls it a break from ESO. But after these 3 weeks in GW2. Seeing how viable and fun magical archetypes are in the entirety of that game. It truly seems that after over 4 years and thousands of USDs spent in ESO. That I may not be coming back.

Lol, the only real chance for you is to jump on RDR2, keep remembering that there are more useful and interesting types of entertaining and forget about MMORPG genre.. otherwise, you'll be here back very soon.
Sadly a lot of games are going with the MMO style of retention now, or live services. It's becoming increasingly harder and harder to be able to play more than one game because they all demand your unwavering attention. :disappointed:

I plan to be playing FO76 as well, but have no idea how I will juggle that, ESO, pen and paper roleplay and other games with friends who don't do the MMO style of gaming.

I'm right there with you ! Lol I have so much on the go rn including a d&d adventure I just joined last weekend 😵 I think I'm gonna drop ESO completely, I've had a good couple of years, time to pay attention to the other 38 games I have XD

Poor babies in this thread. If you guys want to complain so much make something better, oh wait... you can't.

This game is called RPG. Topic starter created PVE, not OP char, which suits his role-playing wishes. Devs destroyed it signature ability without any real good reason.
You got that from the first post? I got they're annoyed with bugs and issues plaguing the game (especially console).
Also their opening sentence says about Battlegrounds, which are not PvE.

Oh I just happened to be in battlegrounds TN! I've done everything PvE wise 🤔🤔 PvE is just as bad 😑😑

I tried to "ditch" ESO about three times since 2015. One time I haven't played for at least 3 months. Not a single day.

Then I returned stronger than ever. Sometimes it's healthy to rest and try something new, there's a strong chance you'll return even better.

As for Fallout, I never liked the setting, so no Fallout for me in any flavour. I'm big ES fan and lore geek, so ESO it is and will be. No time to waste on other demanding games.

Agreed. RN I need one of those 3 month (minimum) break 🙃

This is honestly what helped me. I took six months away then came back with a fresh relaxed mindset to just play the game for what it is and have fun. Stop stressing about every little balance issue or bug, turns out life and gaming is a lot better when you're not destroying your mental health over a video game.

    Hahah agreed 👌👌💯💯

    RDR2 is amazeballs 🎊

RDR2 is alright, but it's not as good as the first. Maybe when the multiplayer comes out for it, then it'll meet the standards of the first. But I already beat the single player game, and it just felt like it was ESO's Horse Simulator x10. Always on the horse going from one place to the next, then back to the original place. Beautiful graphics, but it was missing something. Hopefully the multiplayer will fix that.

Hell, if you want to make a long winded post about why, because you somehow want to bring attention to the problems the game has, why do it on the forum instead of the in game menu? You know, the place most likely the company will take seriously? If your goal is to actually help, that's the place you need to write this, not the forum.

But whateves...don't let the door hit ya.

Lol you've clearly have never had to deal with them in the game menu 🙄 the only place they've ever taken seriously is in here.

Really? I dunno man, felt like any regular old day to me... probably because nobody took the laws seriously prior, authorities included xD

Canadians were already smoking up in public without consequences regardless of Trudope's laws. Nothing actually changed that day xD
