The State of PvP: Bleeds

    The one bleed tick for 2,173 triggered the Skoria proc for 3,506, and all the other damage sources were other players. Damaging proc sets aside, that sort of damage per tick from a cheap, spammable DOT in no-CP is simply ridiculous. Especially when it can be stacked with proc'd bleeds from the same person, as well as multiple other bleeds from other players. And it's even worse when one bleed from each player is proc'ing Oblivion and/or Disease Damage + Major Defile from their back bar, while they're simultaneously dumping front barred spammable damage.

    That makes Rending very good... Better than Destro Reach/clench with Master's.

    And the change to Glyphs is minor. Instead of Tick: damage x2, tick nothing repeat; it's tick glyph 1, tick glyph 2 repeat

    I've seen 1.6k - 1.9k bleed ticks in Battlegrounds quite frequently (which lines up with the numbers in OP's screenshot), and that's simply too high when compared to other (non-bleed) DOTs. I'm not sure what the typical numbers are without Master Weapons, but with them the damage is definitely overpowered. Oddly enough, many of the bleed damage numbers have been lower in the last couple weeks than they used to be, but I think that's just because so many people are abusing enchant procs currently, and using some defensive sets. Who cares about a few hundred damage off your bleed ticks when you're getting an extra 2,141 Oblivion damage per tick to go with it?

    When you take into account how cheap Rending Slashes is, how easy it is to refresh, and how easy it is for Stam to maintain melee range on most targets, along with the fact that it stacks with the same ability from other players, and proc'd bleeds from all players involved, I think the damage is too high even once enchants stop proc'ing on DOTs (https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/443598/adjustments-to-how-weapon-enchants-and-poisons-trigger/p1 for those that haven't seen it yet).

    I'm not 100% sure what the nerf to bleeds should be, but there absolutely needs to be one. Whether it's just a straight up nerf to the abilities themselves, a nerf/change to Master Weapons, have bleeds stop ignoring resists, or something else entirely, I don't know. But there most definitely needs to be a reduction in the damage output that they currently offer.
