Warrior's Heart Ashes - a nod to Dark Souls?

@Aliyavana posted this over at UESP some days ago asking if we think this new crafting style material is a reference to Dark Souls :)

I myself thought the reference was pretty obvious just by looking at the icon:

The name itself, "Warrior's Heart Ashes", also hits me as kinda DarkSoulsy. What do you think, is this design just a coincidence?

    Could be coincidence, could be inspiration. The Dark Souls bonfire icon doesn’t have a sword in it though, rather a fire poker.

    It does seem like a nod to Dark Souls, at least loosely.

    At first glance it does look like a fire poker, but looking closely, and at some of the obtainable items directly related to the bonfire, its actually a coiled sword.

    Ya, it imo has to be a loose representation. It would be random to add a sword through ashes
