Event Impresario question

Hello and good day. I have some confusion and was hoping this can be cleared up.

As I log in these notices usually pop up to alert me of current events or things going on in the crown store.

So this one I like to point out particular as the wordage is very confusing. The featured event : The Impresario. As you read the synopsis it goes on to tell you that there is 7 days left, (currently as of today) and , this is what is confusing,

""Stock changes each even, so make sure to check in with her often""

Now as I adventure I pass her a lot outside Glenumbra in the daggerfall region. The only thing she does is sells 1 particular feature which I cannot purchace because she requires 10 tickets, to which I am only getting 1 per day, even if I jump on another toon and do my adventuring, it is only the one initial ticket I'm getting per day so I can't buy anything. (Meaning that one feather) However that said, her other functions seems to be sell tab to which I can sell junk, repair option for my armor, and buy back tab.

So the wordage "check with her often" is suggesting to me she is selling something other than 1 feather. And by the time I get all 10 of 12 tickets to purchase 1 feather that costs 10 tickets, I feel either I'm missing a huge step in this process to get this so called promised "free" indrik even though I'm working really hard for it daily to get 1 ticket or, whom ever wrote the paragraph for the synopsis in the notification section did so incorrectly. **Also if the feather cost 10, why the extra 2 tickets are needed?**

    You are reading far too much into the word 'often'.

    The Impressario sells specialty items in exchange for Event Tickets. This is her first Event, so at present, her inventory consists of the Witches Festival Emerald Feather.

    There are three more Events scheduled for 2018. Each Event will add an additional unique Feather to her inventory. Acquiring one of each of the four unique Feathers will unlock the new Indrik Mount.

    In 2019, Events will add new items to her inventory which will enable you to customize the appearance of your Indrik Mount.

    Since the Impressario is a permanent addition to the game, Zenimax may have more rewards in the pipeline that would be acquired by purchasing items from her. Event Tickets are her currency.

    You may only hold up to 12 Tickets. Feathers are 10 Tickets each. If you earn 12 Tickets, that means you may purchase the Witches Festival Emerald Feather, and you will start the next Event with 2 Tickets in inventory towards the purchase of the next Event's Indrik Feather.

    As clearly stated in Zenimax's article about Event Tickets, you may earn just one Event Ticket per day per account. Attempting to acquire additional Tickets by running the Event on multiple characters will fail.

    Extra 2 tickets are for the case of losing some events/days. Non-ESO+ players have 10 tickets limit, so it's just another ESO+ previlege so ESO+ members have more freedom, they can skip more days and still be able to get Indrik, while non-ESO+ players have a risk to lose their chance in they skip a couple of days (especialy those who don't have CWC so they won't be able to participate in CWC event and won't get tickets from it at all).

    That's not the case. The 10-ticket limit being displayed for non-ESO+ people was a bug, and it's been changed to 12 for everyone.

    I believe the 12-ticket capacity is there to accommodate future events where you can get 2 or 3 tickets per qualifying activity. For the Undaunted event, we can get 3 tickets for a dungeon completion, so if you had 9 tickets already then you'd lose 2 automatically if the capacity were capped at 10. This way you get bumped up to 12 and can go buy your feather before you run your dungeon the next day.

    I fell for that pop-up today, too.

    I'd visited her at the start of the event, but then I saw the message and thought "oh, I must be missing something" and went out of my way to visit her again.

    Nope. Still just one feather.

    I don't know how she stays in business.

    Oh. *checking inventory* Yes, they fixed that.
    However, the fact that non-ESO+ players had 10 tickets limit means they had an idea to make it ESO+ previlege, that's a fact.

    I wonder what she does with all the event tickets? Is there some kind of black market where she takes our tickets and uses them to buy a fat stock of indrik feathers from some group of Altmer on SS? But then what would they do with the feathers?

    Also that was my question as well. The more events we have, the more feathers we get, but will she only have feathers for sale? I wonder what prizes she'll have for us once we get the 4 feathers and a 5th event comes.

    That's quite an assertion. Perhaps it was that way, but I suspect it could just be the fact that there are other account-wide currencies where ESO+ players can hold more (transmute crystals) and so this got coded incorrectly. The event article clearly stated that all players can hold 12 tickets and there was no mention of ESO+.

    She's outside of Daggerfall, Davon's Watch, and Vulkhel Guard. There's a booth somewhere away from the main entrances to the cities. You'll see a couple of penned Indrik near a small pavilion.

    Yes. You were. Although during the events for the dlc are always on sale for around 1500 crowns so pretty easy to get and even more so since now you can give someone 150k to gift the dlc’s to you. Really no excuse for ppl not to have them if they really want them.

    So, they wrote in the code:

    int TransmuteCrystallMaxAmount;
    int FeathersMaxAmount;
    if (isUserSubscribed)
    TransmuteCrystallMaxAmount = 200;
    FeathersMaxAmount = 12;
    else
    TransmuteCrystallMaxAmount = 100;
    FeathersMaxAmount = 10;

    or maybe:

    float SubCurrencyMultiplier;
    if (isUserSubscribed)
    SubCurrencyMultiplier = 2;
    else
    SubCurrencyMultiplier = 1;
    // And then all of a sudden feathers get 1.2 multiplier for ESO+ members...

    Yeah, sure, just incorrect code. Nothing suspicious.

    Sorry, but I can't imagine such algorytm which could lead to such mistake.

    Or maybe they store in the database a max of each currency for ESO+ and standard. Maybe both were at 10 and they realized they need a max of 12 because of undaunted event that will give 3.

    So someone changed for ESO+ but overlooked standard.

    There is no evidence for or against done nefarious plan. I doubt anyone would subscribe for 2 more event tickets.

    EDIT: Correct typo to say they realized they need a max of 12.

    Does anyone besides very new indie developers actually make modern games by writing out the code?

    I mean I guess it's possible, but as far as I knew most developers used software which makes the process more user friendly.

    I think she uses some of the tickets to demand a ransom payment from the daedra boss who drops it after they respawn back in daedraland. Losing an event ticket to a mortal is pretty embarrassing to daedra and they will pay anything to get it back!
