Regarding how Twitch drops work today...

Today is the big day for streaming! I was hoping for some clarification on how the drops work exactly - I'd heard you can't have the stream in the background, that it has to be the active tab and not muted. I have no problem there, but I was wondering about if I'm working on something like Photoshop or chatting in Discord during the same time? Like, obviously I can hear the stream and I'm paying attention but I'm working on art and occasionally checking my chat - does that interrupt the drop timer or something (if that makes sense)? Ah, good to know, thanks! I'm not able to literally just sit and watch a stream during daytime hours but I can listen and pop in for a few minutes every so often, but I didn't want to miss out on crates. I need 11 more gems to get Murderous Strike and my life will be complete.I have had no issues getting drops with the stream up, and the active window in my browser, regardless of if I was in-game, on discord, doing anything else, as long as you're not on another tab in that browser. I've personaly gotten drops while twitch was NOT in active tab and with twitch itself muted.dirty worthless casual.

on news zos say: TwitchCon: October 26, 6:30-9:00pm BST which would start in 24 minutes.
but on Twitch people say that it'll start in 2 hours. i found some places where they say that it was today eary in the morning and it's over. on bethesda twitch pages there's no info at all.
they really should pick one time zone and stick with it. this is ridiculous.0 -

I can't say if this is 100% correct or not, but I think during the stream someone said something about console getting them when Murkmire drops?
EDIT: I checked again and the exact words were "If you are on console log in to ESO, kill any monster you want (...) and then you will get your crown crates and your dog pet when Update 20 and Murkmire launches in just a couple of weeks".Edited by palahnyurchin on October 26, 2018 10:15PM0 -

i watched it from before the beginning to the end, and i left the browser open after the streaming and i only got 3 useless crates too.
