Maturation and lifesteal

Quick question:
Does lifesteal cast by a Warden proc maturation on people who are attacking the debuffed enemies?

I'm looking for a way to provide minor toughness to my team on my tank Warden now that war horn doesn't provide it.

I believe so, yes, that heals from minor lifesteal are credited to the person who applied minor lifesteal, not the person who dealt damage.

Minor Lifesteal can proc SPC so I don't see why it wouldn't.

isn't shrooms a more reliable way? to apply the buff (unless you are a tank of course)

Why not use leaching Vines? Minor life steal and you can proc the massive for resource return on the non life steal part of the skill, if you heal one of your team.

    Yes, with Overflowing Altar.

    Not with the vines?

I could be wrong on this, but I think that because the lifesteal is applied by the person who has the vines on them, not necessarily the warden herself, that would work but only when the vines get placed on the warden. And ime it can be a little finicky to always place them on yourself.

You have to make sure to use Vines on yourself as a Main Tank to mak sure everyone gets the buff. Already tested, not nearly as reliable as Altar. Not to mention the amazing synergy it provides.

Overflowing Altar and Leeching Vines provide the same debuff to enemies - Minor Lifesteal - so they could both proc the passive. From what I remember from running dungeons with my Stamina Warden as tank with vines on, it does.

Also worth noting that if you apply Minor lifesteal with vines it should proc the Nature’s Gift passive as well unless they changed that, so it could help with your sustain. But I agree that altar is a much more reliable mechanic and useful in its own right.

Thx. Need to level a Warden Tank for my Raidgrp since Zos forces us to use one.
My biggest fear is that i like playing him :expressionless:

Sounds like I should start with vines and change to altar if vines looks unreliable.
