Cannot play the game since Monday's update!

Since the update on Monday I have tried to repair FIVE times, which has done nothing, except allow me to select 'play' on the launcher screen, after which the game immediately crashes. I have tried everything! I've tried the suggestions and advise from several lovely and helpful people on discord, seeing as I have no idea what I am doing when it comes to the technical side of things, And I have downloaded new drivers, checked that I met the system requirements and, of course, sent a ticket, but still my game will not work. As I have sent a ticket, hopefully this will be addressed soon, but until then, if anybody has any suggestions that will make my game work, that would be wonderful

To be honest, I resorted to uninstalling and reinstalling the game. I took a fair few hours, but did the job & now the game actually works...1 -
