Hello everyone,
So, I'm on XBox, so I can't verify by myself but I have a question about the new rewards of the worthy.
Before Murkmire, we can buy every set offered through the rewards of the worthy at the BG vendor. In the Natch Potes, it is said that the new sets would be available solely through Rewards for the Worthy mails. Does this means that the BG vendor still offers the old worthy sets? Does anyone know if the new sets will ever become available for purchase with AP?
I was banking my AP, hoping I could buy this new Spell Strategist set...

✭✭Are you sure that you can buy RotW sets at the BG vendor? I certainly don't remember it being that way... Only BG sets, afaik.
Regardless, I just went and checked; No, the Battleground Merchant only sells containers that contain the BG sets. "Unknown Battleground [Item]: Contains an [Item] from the Vanguard's Challenge, Coward's Gear, Knight Slayer, or Wizard's Riposte item sets."
No mention anywhere about RotW sets. I checked all the vendors at the camp in Daggerfall. Is there something I'm missing?

✭If it says solely through Rewards of the Worthy mails, that's self-explanatory. Accordingly, they should be tradable and people can buy them with gold.1 -

You didn’t check all the Battleground Merchants, @GreenHere.
I’ll let you figure it out ... but the old RoTW sets are currently being sold in blue lockboxes on Live.
As for the OP’s question, the new sets only drop in Reward’s of the Worthy mails ... so you actually need to put in your dues by PvP’ing.

I happened to have about a dozen old RotW containers on one of my characters, and just went and opened them for science; only the old sets dropped out of them, no new ones. RotW containers I earned today were dropping the new sets, however.
I can't predict how it will work on console, but my guess is that your old containers will likely function just like mine did -- you will only get new set items out of post-Murkmire RotW containers.1
