torug's pact set in pvp... did we just kill pvp?

    Indeed. Enchants aren't the problem, Torug's isnt. But the fact that you can now proc 2 x 2 weap enchants by doing nothing at all via weapon dots, with the increased strength and decreased cooldown from Torug's exacerbating the issue.

    And I assume ZOS' answer for this in 3 months from now is to nerf all weapon enchants. Good job.

    Though in honesty, it's time to reevaluate whether weapon enchats should really proc from skills and skill dots. It seems much more fair to have them proc only from actual heavy and light attacks, and perhaps increase the duation of them slightly, while also adressing the issue of dual wielders being able to double dip into enchants just by having 2 weapons on each bar. Making dual wield proc half as often would be a viable solution, and essentially make the enchants work as they do for all other weapons.

    The double dip is what irks me. ZOS always goes out of their way to prevent any kind of Champion Point double dipping but they let the already top performing weapon line double dip on actual free damage procs. Like what?

    The sad part is...LOOK AT THE PTS FORUMS. People have been calling out the enchants like mad. It's honestly just sad now really. RDR2 & BFV can't come soon enough.

    Yes people do: Use rending slash on the backbar and go on the dual wield frontbar, where you weave the other two enchants in.

    please explain the problem on the right side. this is only because of the 100% infused glyph procc. Which was reported on PTS but nobody cares about.

    I would bet all my money that ZOS looks on Torug only... and not the main problem (as we know from all other beautiful sets/skills in the past)

    Been running into this nonsense half the day now... just wow. Forgive me for thinking this was exaggerated. This is some Grade A crapola. Well done ZoS in your relentless pursuit on lowering the bar when it comes to the game.

    Every other person I have fought in pvp died to enchants and bleeds only, I didn’t even need to use other skills, just stamped in that leaves a dot, then rending slashes and step back and watch people melt no matter how many heals or shields they throw out..


    This needs a major chance and fast as pvp will die in days if this goes on... so I herby call for everyone to abuse it so hard that it breaks the game to a point where ZOS will have to change it if they want their game to be playable.

    ive been working on a magicka version of this.

    I'm going with sloads and torugs with back/dot bar disease enchant and front bar oblivion.

    kinda cool how the notes ended up with my planning! hahahaaha

    going to try to stick with 3 swifts on jewelry to stay out of gap closing range as best as possible and just distance troll in pvp. maybe swap out sloads with that one that double soul trap ability damage so i can use that ability.

    DW dots (reding, cloak) procs both enchants on cooldown. Tiny resource cost - high constant damage output.

    This is complicated because there are scenarios in PvE where I care not if the enchants melts everything, but for PvP, Enchants should not proc off bleeds or ability DOTs and AOE. Seems fair, that it behaves differently towards players. If you want to take it off in all scenarios fine, but I see how the wall of elements not procing it might suck for PvEers... But for PvP bleeds, DOTs and AOE should not proc it. Only single target weapon abilities and initial hit of single target, and light and heavy attacks. If it's a heavy that hits more than one apply only to main target. Not sure if Spin to win procs this BS but that's why AOE should not proc it.

    Lets see what they do. We have been saying about bleeds and how they are over performing, procing weapon enchants everything but, they don't listen. Spin to win counts as a melee attack which it's not... so many things we said it. Lets hope they understand now why.

    By the way I agree Torugs not the problem. Hope they can see this. In general even without Torugs it sux to be hit by a weapon enchant when the weapon or its direct damage isn't hitting you.

    The recaps in BGs are stupid right now...and in cyrodiil. People take advantage of broken systems and turn the pvp experience into a negative one. Its dumb right now. This garbage with DW enchants needs to be addressed. In fact, while on my soapbox, all this passive dmg garbage needs to be addressed (proc sets etc)
