Skyshards & Lorebooks guide

Hey everyone and welcome to the early access and launch of ESO! I have compiled a number of skyshards and lorebooks guide for those who like to hunt them down and collect them.

Collecting skyshards will grant you skill points you can use to purchase/upgrade abilities while collecting lorebooks will increase your rank within the Mage's Guild. Collecting skyshards is a bit easier due to the very obvious visual clues and the hints given by your achievement window. Collecting lorebooks is a bit harder and require a good eye since they are a bit more hidden. Luckily. I have compiled guides & maps to both for those that like a little assistance.

Thanks! Btw, do lorebooks no longer have a message show up stating that they are lorebooks? I thought that I have run into a few already, but maybe they are just normal books (that have a yellowy glow)?

They should, lorebooks have a purple glow.

Amazing work!

I am trying to pick up all skyshards from each zone as I level, to avoid having to go back. This is gonna come in super handy.

Added Ebonheart Cyrodiil skyshards and the Mountain skyshard. All of Cyrodiil is done. Just Coldharbour left

Do lorebook locations change? I have found several different websites on lorebook locations and not all of them coincide. I also noted some locations here and there on my own, but when I go to those locations on different characters, lorebooks are not always there.

Some lorebooks are in more than one location and if you pick a book up it vanishes from all locations since you can only pick up each book once.

Yup seems they doubled the amount of lorebooks on live. Now I am seeing 2 copies of almost all lorebooks

Added Colharbour Skyshards to the list, only has the big map right now but I am working on adding the remaining smaller maps and screenshots

Might seem kinda noobish but...I dont see the point in lorebooks..if I see one I read it but dang...seems they dont really do much? Sure they help with mage guild but I wish they helped with more than that like more of an exp gain?

They are the only way to gain ranks with mages guild, which has alot of useful abilities
