Witchmother Cauldron not giving extra experience on alts

I have done this event the last 3 years and this is the first time I see this. I decided to roll up a new alt, summoned the cauldron - turned into skeleton, but no EXP buff? I even checked my stat screen and no buff.

    The xp buff comes from blowing the whistle. if you move while doing that can sometimes not work. drinking just turns you into the skelly

    Thank you, it seems I must have moved while doing it because standing still made it work.

    I have a question... I tried using the crow caller on my alt and under Character it show's the Witchmother's boon but does not say I have the 100% xp buff like it does for my main.

    When I use crow caller on my main it says right below the Witchmother's boon: 100% boost to all experience points but does not say that when I use crow caller on my alts.

    Do I have to complete the quest on all of my alts for the memento to work? I'm not seeing a difference in xp gained...

    I had in previous years done the quest on most of my characters. This year when I tried using the whistle on a new character, it did not give me an xp buff until I went and did the quest.

    Fortunately the quest is not arduous - kill a delve boss, find guts (any rat or frog if you do not already have guts), find a pumpkin (there is a respawning one right outside of the witches cave in each alliance).

    Epona was a Romano-Celtic goddess dating back to around 1800 to 2000 years before computer games were invented.

    Oh, okay! Thank you so much! I already have plenty of pumpkins and guts (about 500 pumpkins and over 1k of guts). The way it's worded on the eso website was that you could use the whistle on all of your characters and that you don't have to redo the quest. I took that you only had to do the quest on one character to use the whistle. It's just worded funny.

    Yeah, I knew that you can't move while blowing the whistle but when I do use it, I still do not get the xp buff on my alts.

    When I scroll to the character screen, it doesn't say anything underneath the Withmother's Boon effect.

    I use FTC and in the combat log, I get the same xp amount whether my alt uses the whistle or not.

    Seems like you have to do the quest on all alts because it's either buggy or intended.
