Content wise it's meant to be pretty amazing (feedback from friends), balance wise it's controversial, stability/bug wise it needs a incremental quote badly.Donny_Vito wrote: »Seeing a lot of positive feedback from people. Looks like a good patch.
Excited for the console release here shortly...more time to farm this sweet event in the meantime.

Exciting details await everywhere! Amazing new costumes. Argonian are terrific, but female Khajiit clothes just left me speechless. Incredible plants. I felt like a curious child when tried to crouch to a plant – it was… hiding in the ground when I approached! Argonian culture – alien as it should be, not a dissolved, average Tamrielic way of life. Music instruments and Argonian songs… oh my, I love it! A new home… a Xanmeer… yes, I will never afford it. I wish I could. So creative and so beautiful. I will just roam there via preview option to enjoy the asthenosphere.
A whole new world to be explored, so bright, so vivid, mysterious and unique. I’m happy with Murkmire, and I really want to thank @ZOS team for this incredible meticulous work. And I’m really happy to have a Haj Mota pet!
They've continued to up the quality of every DLC/Zone since Orsinium, the love and attention going into the stories and world design is amazing.

You are the kind of player ZOS designed Murkmire for. I don't mean that to be disparaging! I'm really glad you're enjoying it.
Many of the vocal players on the forums don't prioritize environments, costumes, plants, exploration, etc. Many of us started playing the game because it offered
- classes that feel balanced and rewarding in challenging combat situations
- well-designed open world PVP, regardless of whether you preferred large-scale, small-scale, or solo play
- engaging endgame PVE group content that always kept you on your toes while still allowing you to feel strong
Murkmire has taken huge steps backward on all three of those issues, even as the things you mentioned that you are most excited about have become some of the games strongest points. I'm happy for you and players like you, but it's still sad to think about what the game used to offer.
I think the word "grateful to ZOS" is totally out of place in this context. If the zone and quests are well designed and you think you got what you paid for then they're just being honorable businessmen.
Then there are those of us who expect well-thought-out combat balance and bug-free content for their money instead of fancy mount giveaways...
