Population on Xbox?

I was just wondering if people still play this game a lot. I know PC is decent but that's because most players on this game DO play PC. I want to know if I should buy all of my expansions on computer or Xbox. I currently have an Xbox but in a week my computer will be shipped. It's able to handle it on max settings.

Another thing I checked was that PVP on Xbox was almost entirely dead. Maybe because I just logged on during the day, but every campaign had no bars filled. The main campaign with CP had 2 per faction. Do people just simply not play it that much anymore, or is the population as a whole going downwards? I like to have people because Xbox is meant to be played with parties and large guilds. But even in the main cities, it seems like no one is there compared to the last year or so. I thought this game was doing better than it ever has been?

I am just coming back to Xbox and it does seem more people on PC. What to get on what platform is your choice. Longer loading times on Xbox. No cheats on Xbox aka mods. :p

Seriously instead of buying all the DLC, I would get ESO+ and just buy Summerset. Heck for the first month, I would buy nothing and just get ESO+ for PC and ESO+ for Xbox and then see where you have the most fun before buying. That is assuming you already have it for PC and Xbox right now.

i play on all 3 platforms and in most of the hubs I see more people on xbox then pc but not by many 20-30 or so it could be the shards I am in but I play xbox and pc at the same time on monitors next to each other so I can easily see the comparison. ps4 seems to have the smallest population.

Oh ok, and by DLC i meant buying the standalone expansions like Summerset and Morrowind. It'll be a while before i do those quests anyways so I'll just stick to ESO+ for now. Should I do the main story first and then the DLC/2 expansions? And what about the other 2 faction stories? I would rather not do all of the faction quests all in one character, that would eliminate replay lol

Morrowind is included with ESO+ now, so you can hold off on getting Summerset unless you need to craft rings/necklace. As what to do, I just do my own thing. Most people don't seem to agree with me, but I do what ever I feel at the moment.

Only thing I can suggest is, if you do get ESO+ once you get out of the tutorial go straight to your factions "home" starter location. All I know is Aldmeri Dominion. You will want to go to Vaulken Guard. This way you speek to the "hooded stranger" right away. Don't need to do the quest right away but good to get so you don't loose here and be hard to find.

After that I recommend go straight to the Gold Coast and start the Dark Brotherhood quest. Go to the "hide out". (I put it in quotes because I always forget what it's called. Where you go to sell your stolen goods) and look for Amellia Crow. (Name can be spelt wrong.) Do the quest until you get the "Blade of Woe".

I like using it since I pretend I am knocking out people with that ability instead of killing them. It's more role play for me. This way I can be more sneakier in my role play and have the ability to kill/knock out the person instead of just killing them out right.

Other than that once you get the Blade of Woe go back to your home starter location and do what ever you want from there. I would recommend to start the writ quests so you can make food/weapons/armour and be certified in them. Then start your research since it takes a LONG time to complete everything. Also start training your mount on speed first. Other than that, do what you want. I only PvE an die a lot so can't really give anymore tips that just do what you want and have fun.

Also don't RESTART and DELETE your characters. I have done that for 4 years and finally learned NOT TO DO IT. I didn't know I can change my race with real money. I could have maxed my characters but only have one level 50 character and 7 other low ones. You can't change classes but you can change races. Forget the price though.

    Hope this helps.
