Not much crowns just 800 but I would love to have them in all homes meaning 21 x 800 ... well not a chance in hell I will buy those...

Erm, well...
ZOS keeps monetizating housing more and more. So players who dont like that trend have reason to complain.
Lets look at the trend. Hosuing comes out and its meant to be a grind, but players are nonetheless able to acquire lots of recipes and the mats and construct houses and furnishings, with the crown store as convenience.
Morrowind has rare recipes, but lots of places to acquire recipes, with tons of urns in tombs for farmers, and mats easily acquired from gear and the justice system.
Clockwork City has extremely rare furnishings and plans.
Summerset has Traitor's Vault for farming, which gets nerfed. Culanda Lacquer is only obtained through dailies and rare gear drops. Alinor furnishings are made deliberately scarce/expensive to sell the Summerset packs in the Crown Store.
Now, the new music boxes are for Crowns only.
This all boils down to a trend where ZOS is increasingly monetizing Housing through locking stuff in the Crown Store.
Is this a problem?
Depends. ZOS is certainly free to monetize Housing however they want, including making players buy with Crowns to get the Housing items they want. I am also free to refuse to buy Housing items for Crowns. For anyone who think this is a trend likely to be detrimental to the game, yeah, its a problem.
I would prefer for every item in game to be available for in-game methods, not including gifting. However, as we've seen with the Welkynar motif and the Clockwork City plans, ZOS isnt above making that in-game method a punishing grind in order to boost Crown Store sales. So even that isnt a perfect solution.15 -

I am paying monthly sub , that should be more than enough... Beside all housing players wanted it to be obtainable in game not from crown store...3 -

There are some guilds that assure a safe trade, but you pay a little bit more. If the trader scams you the guild takes responsibility
but yeah some more things for tel-var stones would be awsome, Something that gets the players back into the IC ^^ 1 -

✭✭✭✭✭I feel like the best solution is to buy one for your primary home and then buy a second one to travel between the 20 secondary homes. So 1600 crowns instead of 16,800.
Or if that completion is worth around 3,360,000 gold, then pay somebody else to purchase 21 music boxes.
But it's probably not. It's just yet another outlier scenario presented as a flimsy excuse to bash ZOS.

How many crowns are the people who sub getting now [or will soon be getting]? 1600 something? So if the music box is 800 crowns, and subbers get 1600....hm.....Isn't that like 2 music boxes? Not enough to fill 21 houses immediately, of course, still.....
And I'm fairly sure all the players want stuff to be available in game instead of only with crowns, but that probably won't happen, regardless of forum requests.

As would I, but.... My smuggler is useless since I put him in the guillotine, suits him. My merchant is useless because she is being eaten by the head of Malacath. My banker still works tho he is being boiled in a witches cauldren. So a bard would be a welcome addition to the tourture chamber, just not a very musical one in all probability.+1 -

I'm disappointed also.
I hate when they they make items exclusive to the crown store.
That being said: this probably will generate revenue. I'll probably break down at some point and spend crowns on them myself.
