[PC/Mac Patch Notes v4.2.5] Conjured Ward and Hardened Ward (GINA!!!)

You wrote:

This is not the change made in PTS Patch 4.2.3 and is not the same effect as Annulment and Dampen Magic!

PTS Patch 4.2.3
  • Sorcerer > Daedric Summoning > Conjured Ward > Hardened Ward (morph): This morph now also increases the shield cap to 50% of your Max Health (previously 40%), and now also gives the 20% shield value bonus to your pets as well.

PC/Mac Patch Notes v4.2.5 (Today's Patch)
  • Annulment: The total strength of this ability is now limited to 40% of the caster’s health.
  • Dampen Magic (morph): This morph now also increases the shield cap to 50% of your Max Health, previously 40%.
There is a difference between Annulment and Dampen Magic.

The correct change to Conjured Ward and Hardened Ward is:
  • Conjured Ward: The total strength of this ability is now limited to 40% of the caster’s health.
  • Hardened Ward (morph): This morph now also increases the shield cap to 50% of your Max Health (previously 40%), and now also gives the 20% shield value bonus to your pets as well.
P.S.: Bastion remains useless.

    ZOS still reserves the right to make combat changes after the last iteration of PTS and before it goes live.

    You may be right ... but it also could be intended.

    In other words, don’t tell Miss Gina she’s wrong until we get further clarification.

    Conjured Ward being 50% instead of 40% of max health would be a great last minute change. Hardened Ward should then be 60% of max health to maintain its 20% larger shield than Empowered. I can’t login to verify, but certainly hoping this is what made it to the live patch, since PTS shields were awful.

    Yeah, I know, sorry @ZOS_GinaBruno :heart: Title and what I posted first was edited.

    I commented because maybe that would go unnoticed. The change from PTS Patch 4.2.3 to Conjured Ward and Hardened Ward was ignored, being considered only the change made in the first PTS Patch.

    If Gina wrote correctly, then the Devs created a useless morph (Hardened Ward) and Empowered Ward would be the only choice in ALL situations.
    BTW, Devs, Bastion remains useless too!

    At best, they have not had time, but they will change.
    My suggestion is registered again:
    • Bastion: Reduces damage taken while using a damage shield ability by [0-25]%.

    That would be an interesting buff! But I think a misunderstanding has happened.
