What will happen to Bastion with the shield changes?

No, I tested it out at the PTS. WIth about 40k Magicka, the shield (both morphs of conjured ward) will hit the health cap and bastion won't benefit this value at this point.

There's no reason to choose these morphs and put points on Bastion.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭The easy and obvious solution is to make Bastion apply after the 40% health cap. The bonuses from Hardened Ward and Dampen should also apply after the cap. The cap should also be changed to 50-60% of Max health in PVE, and 40% with Battle Spirit (should be a little more than half the PvE values, because being crittable also decreases effective shield size).0 -
Jakx✭✭✭✭✭Is this really their intended use of Bastion now? It nearly makes the passive entirely irrelevant. Something that seems like it must be an oversight with the changes.
It would be great to get some clarification on Bastion and if its intended to still provide the bonus that it gives with the shield changes. @ZOS_GinaBruno
The two best suggestions Ive seen if Bastion is to be made relevant again are to (1)create a direct counter to Shattering Blows (the developers have said that CP options are supposed to cancel each other out so wheres the counter to Shattering Blows? Bastion is ready made) OR (2)Bastion could now increase the shield cap.
