Is there a more pointless Trial than vSO?

I honestly cant see the point in it
* It drops Twice Fanged which used to be an OK set but now is used less than siroria
* It drops Wise mage (which isnt as good as IA)
* It dropps immortal warrior, which very few people use
* its not exactly a quick trial - and for very little reward
* The poison is just a bit silly and theres invisible poision to contend with too. not sure if this is by design or a bug
* You can reset large parts of it, ie the overchargers on the bridge, the trolls before osara etc
in short, theres very little NEED to go in there for anything... is there?

✭agree with you on the easiest HM mode out of all trials. but the time it takes to actually get there you could have done vAA almost twice over .
I actually think vAA is a better hard mode to learn on and all round better trial tbh.

✭✭You can run the normal with 6 or 7 players instead of 12. If you have a time getting enough people to do it. AA and Hel Ra got to have the people. DLC Trials even normal, pretty much need at least 10.0 -

✭✭Granted, I'd like poison to be - telegraphed somehow, instead of coming out of the blue and spreading like wildfire. But TFS is used (Relequen pushed it aside quite a bit, but Relequen isn't effective everywhere).
In fact, everything that was listed above applies even more to Halls of Fabrication - long, pug-hostile (on normal, mind, hardly anyone runs nHoF with pugs) and with sets of limited use.0 -

At least HoF has Master Architect which is somewhat useful, but yeah both of these trials need some new rewards. At least the gold jewelry has a chance for a chromium grain.0 -

it might be easy gold treasure when you get there, but due to endless add pulls its more cost /time efficient to do 2 x vAA than 1 x vSO

Mister_DMC✭✭✭✭✭It's a good trial, it's a big healing check because the poison damage is constant. It's a good tank check as there are many adds to deal with and it's important for the tanks to work together. The off tank needs to learn to self sustain. The DPS need to watch for visual cues and move instead of stack and burn all the time.
Yes it's long. It was the last released trial in Craglorn and meant to be the most difficult. That's the point. There are still many groups that fail to complete this, I was in two of them this week 😔. What's the problem exactly? It doesn't drop current bis sets? By that logic 99% of the content in ESO is useless.0 -
