Just want to throw out some positive feedback for the event. The way the Dremora Plunder Skulls drop from different activities had me doing things I haven't done in a long time, and playing with people I haven't played with in a long time.

I ran DSA, which I hadn't done since Homestead, with people I haven't played with in at least six months, so that was fun. Then I did nSO with my regular PVP crew.

It can be easy, even in a game with as much to do as ESO, to fall into a rut of doing the same thing(s) over and over. It's nice that they gave us incentive to deviate from our routines.

I've been loving it. It gave me the incentive to practice normal Maelstrom, so I actually learn the spawn patterns on the later levels.

I just wish there was an in-game timer for when the types of dremora plunder skulls are available again. Or at least the event ticket.

I have 2 complaints. While I like that we have to do different content, the 20 hour cooldown is obnoxious. Set all resets at server reset time, or any other random time, no more 20 hr BS.
2nd, let us get drops per character, not account. If you have multiple crafters, there us no way to get full sets of dremora motif for them all, due to the 1 per day limit. I can complete all 9 types in about 2 hours, then I'm done with witches content for the day.

I didn't do anything that I haven't done before yesterday but I'm planning on trying Maelstrom Arena sometime over the weekend.

Great implementation, in my opinion. I've seen more people interacting with each other than I have in some time. More people helping each other out with content that they'd not normally do.

I also really do appreciate the per account aspect of this. Going to make this logical assumption....most of your paying customers (ESO+, crown store, DLC) have full-time jobs and real life responsibilities so it puts us on an even playing field with the ones who do not. I would be really disappointed seeing someone having all motifs on multiple characters on the first day when a good portion of players haven't even got off work yet. Anyways, enough on this topic.

Good job ZoS. Between this and Summerfall, they've gotten a few wins lately before Murkmire.

Fun event. So many things you can do to participate. It spreads people out also so no one place gets over crowded.

Anyone can buy all the motifs on multiple characrers with enough gold.

The best part is that you can complete it in 2 days without spending more gold than earning through the event, while also doing something that isn't completely boring by itself. This is quite a contrast to the worm cult motif madness a couple months ago.

If RNGesus loves you. I'll probably get exactly the same chapters tonight that I got last night.

LOVE the way ESO has changed the WITCHES FESTIVAL, except for the 20 hour rule. Should be 11 p.m. switch-over for writs and things.

Regarding timers on the reset, I just assumed that since the event started and will likely end at 1400Z (10 AM EDT), that this would be the reset time.

I agree! I've been playing this game a bit before Thieves Guild came out and yesterday for the first time experienced my first trial with my guild; had such a great time! We were at first just doing other things to get Dremora drops which once we were done with everything else they mentioned trial and I almost left since I didn't really think my character was ready. Glad they convinced me to stay and give it a try. Thanks ZOS for changing the Witches Festival enough to experience this with the guild!

I'm glad some people are enjoying it. :)

I prefer festivals with new content personally. Doing the same things we can do any other time of the year for one extra drop doesn't seem like much of a festival to me. I prefer the New Life Festival which has special quests just for the festival.

The Gold Plunder Skulls were a nice addition to help mix it up some. So no arguments here.

So that must be what it was.

I forced myself through a Maelstrom Arena today and didn't get a gold skull at the end. So I'd prefer they just have a switch over time as well.

I did an nDSA, such a chore. No skull, off by 15 minutes, had to do it again, was not fun. I got the addon that times them now though, so I know when they are active.

    Poorly implemented event.

They released dremora skulls without giving us information about the timers, players needed to figure it out on their own, tagging the devs for 3 days straight for explanation did nothing. Plunder skulls also have their own timer.

Not gonna mention that each skull have its own timer, this is a nightmare to track all of them everyday. Gladly PC players have addon for this, but I can imagine how frustrating it may be on consoles.

And as usual, huge latency and fps issues like during every event, every year. Yesterday on PC EU we had such a big lag that our messages on guild chat were showing up with few minutes delay.

So this event is mostly sitting with a watch in your hand wondering if your skull from a trial have been already reset, because skull from arena was ready 3,5 minutes ago, and you have still to wait 12 minutes for a skull from dungeon.

Agree. I love that I can slay a boss and earn 1 event ticket. THEN spend my day the way i want. :)
Also getting some plunder skulls along the way is nice. Good System.

He said it would give him the chance to learn the spawn patterns, that IS something you can learn in nMA.

For me, this time Witches Festival feels rewarding. The first time witches festival was around, it didn't feel rewarsing after 2 days, but now, since the dremora skulls are spread across many typea of PVE and a timer, the feeling is different. I now have a reason to go to different content and do it, I do not get burned out because variation and because I can't sit there and farm.

I agree with this, I feel that every event. Appt of people seem to make events into work trying to max out and I know the timers have stressed people this time. But I feel like you

The separate timer on the skulls/ticket is a pain, but this event allowed me to run my first trial, my first arena and to do all the delves and world bosses of Auridon, and today I also did a quick four men run with a group built in chat for two Morrowind WB.
If they sort out the mess with the ticket it will be a great event
