How does this set compare as a defensive set ,is it just good in a 1v1 duel situation?

    It is very strong, pretty much provides 100% uptime of minor maim. Additionally it does decent damage.

    Not as good as other monstersets. Its only worth it, when combine with necropotence.

    It’s good open work for proc’ing necro on classes that don’t have access to pets thus giving you good damage and a maim

    I use it on my tank that way I don't have to bother with low slash
