Overabundance of green/blue/+ items

Doesn't it bother you that every second drop from a random mob is a green/blue item? It certainly bothers me. My first MMORPG was Vanilla WoW and in there to get a green drop was a lot rarer than what we have in ESO. It almost felt like you've found a treasure. In ESO it feels like you find treasure left and right, so much that you're literally throwing away gold nuggets, because they are chipped or something.

The more I play, the more I realize how useful the are for crafting, but just the frequency at which they drop is bothering me, either give more value to white items when used in crafting or, EVEN MORE to green/blue ones and make them rarer.

This makes the game feel like retail WoW - you're some demigod with fat stacks running around, nobody can touch you, nobody can kill you, you wear some diamond platinum armor set, riding your spirit ass demon tiger mount (like everyone else) and NPCs should be grateful you are wasting your time for their insignificant problems. I feel like the game doesn't give enough justice to humble beginnings and people become epic too quickly. This should be addressed. I've also seen a lot of comments from shallow fashion freaks that brand the game P2W, because crates don't always drop costumes.

Since I can't edit my original post, I would like to add that this is all in connection to how epic the game makes your character from the get-go. I hate epicness and I made my 300+ something character look like a low level NPC.

People get so engrossed with this epicness that they feel they should be even more epic, hence why the comments about the game is P2W, because it doesn't give enough free skins. I was once even called out to invest in my character's appearance, because some shallow scrub thought it wasn't looking epic enough.

This problem is all related to how you get blue/green items too often and they are just junk.

ESO loot game is extremely weak all around. I almost envy all these players who have only played ESO or one other. In the MMO world it seems ignorance actually is close to bliss.

What does that even mean? Can you attempt to be more coherent?
